MLP Arena Appreciation

Been here on the Arena for nearly two months now, and found it a nice friendly place to be One thing this morning really made me think though:-

I was going to ask a question but assuming it had likely come up before I did a search for the particular subject (which I'll not go into for fear of starting something) and sure enough found an old thread. This was on quite an emotive and contentious subject, and went on for many pages with contributions from lots of people, yet not once did anyone throw their toys out of the pram over it. The whole discussion was polite, constructive and very informative.

Now some of this can no doubt be attributed to the hard work put in by the Mod/Admin team, being a Moderator myself on another forum (nothing to do with ponies) I know what goes on behind the scenes that most are unaware of, but it also reflects what a genuinely nice bunch of people reside here.

With the plethora of awful forums out there I just thought it needed saying

YAY for MLP Arena!!

I agree. I've rarely seen a fight on here. I attribute that to great mods! Thanks for doing such a great job on keeping this site enjoyable and safe for all.

I want to echo the appreciation for the Mods and the Arena in general.  It's been a really helpful and friendly place and I'm glad I finally got over my shyness to join.

I love it here.  I know what you mean about it being nicer than most forums - I have appologised for certain things that I and others have been ridiculed for on other forums (such as typing long posts) and have always been told that I don't have to.

Echoing all of this! The fact that I was able to come back after years being away and still be welcomed like an old friend is amazing, and something I haven't experienced anywhere else. This is the most amazing forum I have ever been on, and I feel privileged to be part of such a fantastic community.

This is probably the only on-line community where I feel comfortable
Even though there are periods when I'm inactive, I still return because I know I won't be made fun of for asking questions or being wrong.

  Hehe I agree the mod's do a great job  I noticed a few time when the odd threads get a little ott & people are getting a bit upset the mods are in there quickly to sort it out & put it to a stop
