Pokémon Go! Lapras and Articuno

Been playing Pokémon Go for a while now and so I'll join this thread to announce that I finally caught a Ponyta yesterday. It was 21 CP, but it is adorable, and I wanted one. I had been so jealous when my sister hatched one out of an egg

Now both of us want to find some Vulpixes. Our area has almost none; we have seen silhouettes near church, though. Must investigate soon!

Finally got a Dewgong the other day. Seel only spawns in one place around here, which is like the intersection of two very busy streets, right by the edge of a campus where there's literally nothing. So strange.

And evolved a Marowak today. My incense brought around a nearly 700 CP Squirtle today but the dang thing ran after my first attempt catching it with a raspberry, and a curveball ultrabull where I got a great throw.

I caught my very first Venomoth yesterday! ^_^ I was so excited - I was in the car, so I knew if I caught it, it would have to be FAST or else it would flee!! and I managed to snag the wiggly little thing! X3 But I was planning on evolving one of my (many) Venonats, so now I don't know what to do with all of the candy!

Got to lvl 10 this morning! I was hoping to use the lucky egg we get at lvl 9 to power level...but I just barely got to 20 evolve-able pokemon so far >< Don't want to waste it lol.

I finally got my Cubone! After not seeing them anywhere since the spawn locations moved one popped up in my lap at the park.

Hatched a Scyther!!   He came strong with sooooo many candies.

I got TWO 10 km eggs, the day after I scared my friend, I got another one, I was shocked!

The first one hatched into an electabuzz and the second one hatched into hitmonlee, I didnt have either of them yet!

I also have had a pokemon in a gym for two days now, which is *really* shocking around here, doubly so because I'm Team Instinct.  

How's everyone doing, anyone have a pokemon over cp 2000 yet?

I got TWO 10 km eggs, the day after I scared my friend, I got another one, I was shocked!

I have a 2099 Vaporeon and a 2011 Exeggutor! I've got 114 pokemon in the pokedex right now and a 10k egg going that hopefully won't be a weedle, lol.

That's great lunar_scythe. I was able to stay in a gym all weekend. It was the longest I've ever been in one. But I got kicked out sometime this morning.

I'm only at level 16 so far. So I'm far away from getting anything at cp2000. My highest so far is a vaporeon at cp1180.

My Dragonite is close to 3000 now. I put him in a gym near here that is very frequently taken over and I was gym leader and a girl had her powerful Arcanine under me, then there were 5 more people beneath us with pretty strong Pokemon. We lasted almost a whole week I think, I was completely stunned. lol

Then a group of guys each around level 30 came around, took it over, and put their Pokemon in the gym.

Didn't really hunt today, no new ones for me. Two 10 km eggs are close to hatching. Hoping for something new. Still need Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.

I had to take a short break because I maxed out my data plan for the month! LOL New month starts today so I can get back to hunting. I need to get back to it. I'm starting to fall behind the other players in my area.

Yesterday I went to the local high school track to walk with some friends and it was so perfect. One loop around the track is about a 5 minute walk, and the entrance to the track is a Pokestop, so every loop we were able to get the stop just as it turned blue again! Sadly there weren't any good Pokemon there, but I used an incense and was able to get a Mankey and a Staryu, which I needed.

Got to work today and caught a pretty sweet Tauros on my way in. Awesome first day back already!

I'm using my Team Instinct phone case and I got several compliments from students, including a few who are also on the same team. They told me that during their lunch break they were going to go over to the building on campus that's a gym and try to take it over, and they invited me! So I'll be hanging out with them during my lunch break. I'm so excited! Finding other Instinct members is like finding rare treasure.

Now that it's fall semester at the college, I suspect the gym will be changing colors a lot. It was pretty dead here over the summer, so I didn't have much competition.

I got *another* 10 km egg, thats 3 in a week!  I only got 1 the whole first month, did they increase the odds of getting the better eggs?

There's a park just a few towns over that has soooooo many Pokestops, including a trail along the river that has lots of water-types. We've gone there twice this past week. I'm also excited because my friend joined Team Instinct, so I'm not alone in that anymore!

Speaking of Instinct, got my tank a little while ago... I love it!

I've been hearing that certain Pokestops are more likely to spit out certain eggs? No idea if it's true or not though.
