Pony spa days are my favorite pony days. I spend more on my ponies' appearances than I do my own!-grabby hands at doubles-I've never used the iron on my ponies hair, but I'd say the lowest setting you can possibly manage so that it doesn't melt the hair.
It's not weird! I would caution against the curling iron/straightener though. Some people swear by those, but it can be easy to melt hair on the older gens.I find that saturating the hair with conditioner, combing out the tangles/frizz, then leaving the conditioner in overnight can work wonders. Then in in the morning I rinse it out and style!I have found G2 hair to be the hardest to work with though.
