They are super cute! I do love sea ponies Although I always think it would have been cute if they could all have had symbols.

I LOVE the sea ponies! I had Sealight (one of the watercolor babies) as a kid. I wish I'd had more, and I wish she'd been in the tub my dad found in the attic. As an adult, I've managed to collect a handful of baby sea ponies and one of the adults - cringing at the price point for when I start looking for the floats and shell! lol.

I *have* to post this picture of little Whitecap with her momma!  Twinkle Eye did a fantastic job on her!  Momma Whitecap migrated from my pony storage and now sits with her little baby right on my desk.

So adorable!  I tried collecting them all - I got very very close!  Just needed one shell and two ponies.  But then I decided to sell them so they have happy new homes. 

The only sea pony I REALLY want in my collection is the one I had from childhood - Watercolour Sunlight...  I threw her away when I was a young tween and didn't know how to clean her up.  Oh if only I knew then what I know now!

My sisters and I seldom took a bath sans sea ponies! Hence why mine are in kind of sad shape, languishing in the To Do pile. I want to say my favorite was called... Dipper, or something along those lines.

My mom didn't want my sister so play with them in the tub and that made them sad. I do recall playing with some in the tub however maybe cuz I was the last kid of 5 it just didn't matter anymore :p

But we got so so many toys from church members and friends it was just nuts. I recall a he man tiger, and ponies!

When we moved we got rid of so much stuff and it was rare we got new toys anymore. Kinda sad.. No ponies stayed.

I wonder why there wasen't as many adults as babies made. The babies are darn cute tho! I love thair tails and float.

I would like to see a boy seapony with hat, hey that's an Idea!
Dose  anyone know how a big brother hat would look on a adult sea pony?

When I was a kid I had one of the baby seaponies and I loved playing with her in the tub!  Or in other water bodies...outside...which is how I lost her, whoops.  And it is embarrassing to say I cannot remember who she was.

Now, I have a couple but I really prefer the four-leggeds.  Maybe if I took more baths I would appreciate them more again

I love those sunset to twilight colors with the crescent moon and the waves remind me of the art style from Last Unicorn

Sea ponies!! They were always my favorite. I own three right now, two of them Seawinkles. I found my first at a garage sale with her ribbon and shell for $2, and I love her! I want more, just like everyone else.

Sea Shimmer-of all the oceanic colors, hers reminds me of it the most, when the sea water is that weird, murky green in the dying light of dusk and it looks blue further out...I just got all nostalgic for no reason I can think of. If I could have one more sea pony, she'd be it.

Sea Mist-there's something indescribably special and beautiful about this girl.

Babies Beachcomber and Sun shower-I'm not a huge fan of monochromatic themes but these cuties rock that look!

Wave Jumper-I love that pose better on the adults (both poses are nice though) and the pink with the blue..

Baby Sea Breeze-her colors are soft and her mane is unique I think

Baby Dipper-I love her picture, I'll bet she's even more precious IP

Secondly, I love Sea Ponies. I don't really know why, I just always have. As a kid I had two - Sunshower and Ripple (goes to dig out the pictures).

They were the only ones I ever had as a kid. Sunshower probably got more play, because I remember she got mouldy and had to be disinfected at one point (she is not quite so pearly any more, bless her xD) I am really fond of both of them for that reason.

I don't remember adult sea ponies being in stores here. I think that was too early for me, probably. I'd only have been 3 in 1985, whereas I was 5 when Ripple and Sunshower were out. I think I must have had Ripple in 1988 though...since I had Sunshower on her own for quite a while.

They didn't sell the Sea Sparkle ones here which is sad, they're gorgeous ponies. They did sell the Watercolor ones here (as Colour Change Baby Sea Ponies) but only 4 of them, and the only reason I know they did is because Chrissytree presented me with a scan of a backcard and I've since found 2 of them on german card with the european borders. I really only remember the Pearlies, although the first set was also sold her. My friend had Backstroke, I think. I liked Backstroke. I remember her character made her the best swimmer.

So, on to now. Between us, my sister and I have all of them loose, and I have a few of the babies MOC. We are still missing the shell to Sea Breeze, but that's all. I would love still to get Ripple at least on UK card, because she's a childhood pony, but the prices are much higher now than they used to be.

I did have Misty as well, but she fell off the card in transit. Seller sent her surface mail without any padding, so she's not MOC any more

My adult sea ponies live around my sink (the new mirror isn't up yet, but here they are anyway). The mismatched shells are generally because the right shell belongs to my sister and her sea pony in her collection, although as I said, Sea Breeze still needs hers

I used to have Sealight MIB, too, but I sold her. I don't have a connection to the first set of US adult sea ponies (aside Wavedancer-Wavebreaker) so I decided she'd be happier with a US collector.

My favourite adult sea pony is still Sand Dollar, because she reminds me of Shady

Lovely pictures and art! I can appreciate that and the sea ponies as an adult, but I'm more drawn to the adults and babies.. As a kid, they didn't really do it for me.. Too busy playing on land and in the air and not in the water!
