overkill much??? but at least it wasn't glass!!!
i found that on all my flat foot ponies, it was like they put another heavy weight washer on them to stop them from fulling forward like they usually do :P

The double tail is so cool!  It was a pretty big hunk and then shattered pieces in there as well.  I wish I would of taken a picture but my first response was to get it all cleaned out.  I don't think it was glue, it was clear, very sharp and super hard.

Here she is now.  Just need to wrap her hair in tin foil and try to fade a highlighter mark.

Aww, look at that poor pony outside. She looks so sad that no one will let her in! :lmao: If you're being sunfaded, then it's for your own good, pony!

I have about 6 of them out there :p the ohio sun works so well because its not super strong.  I've had a star shine fading for months now and she's not burning (yet) she's super white and her pink highlighter is finally fading!  Also is Bowtie, duck soup, dancing butterfly and 3 others I can't remember.

*grins* the double washers are normal for flat foot ponies, it's to keep them from falling on their nose(the head is very heavy)

Princess ponies all have 2 tails, a normal one and then a smaller one with half hair and half tinsel, I think?

lunar is right :) Clearly Hasbro were trying hard to get the FF ponies right and a heavier duty double washer is normal for most of them. Same with the Princess ponies and their double tails - normally one has the tinsel in it and one does not.

slj84 what an odd and dangerous thing to find inside a pony! At least an adult found it however and not a child 20 years ago!

Strange indeed. I've only opened up two of my ponies today and didn't find anything odd. Maybe someday though!

All Princess Ponies I have opened had two tails. One tail with tinsel, and one without. And i've opened like 10+ of them.

A friend that I met at the Fair told me a really nasty creepy-crawlies related story. Do not click the spoiler if bugs weird you out.

Spoiler
I can't remember if she found it herself or if it was someone else who told her, but there was once a dead cockroach inside a sealed G1! It like, fell in or something during production because it was sticking half-in and half-out of the plastic. I've not seen that happen yet, though I'm honestly not surprised that it's happened.

Also

Spoiler
I found a dead ant in a Sea Pony once. It had already been cleaned out, but was sitting in someone's basement or garage for years because she had quite a bit of dust in her (and she REEKED of smoke ><). I'm guessing the ant had crawled into the drain-hole during that time and was trapped inside. I also found a dead spider once in a fakie. I should have just said NOPE NOPE NOPE but I kept cleaning and she looks really clean and cute now. But yeeeah... there's a reason I open most of my ponies, especially the G1s.
