Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've been active on the forums. My family's been going through some tough times, so I've decided to sell off some of my G4 stuff since I don't actively collect them. Problem is I have no clue what the prices of anything are. I have a lot of regular figures, and a ton of the little blind bag ones. The shade of pink seems to be the Vampire's. Cat girl is a little more intense, and it's definitely not the blob girl.

The Tuesday Morning nearest to me that said that they had the J-dolls actually didn't. They did however have 1 Peter Pan Pullip, Pinocchio Dal, and several Captian Hook Taeyang. I picked up the Pullip as well as a vintage 80's Barbie Moroccan outfit that I was super surprised they had. I hope that the store near me will get the J-dolls in at some point.

Layaway is year round and works on most items (food, clothing, clearance items and seasonal stuff like halloween decorations and costumes or easter baskets and things like that are excluded).
Price match at my store seems to change with the manager. I've had a manager say "Only on Baby items and only with a print ad", while another manager the next day will be all "They're showing you the competitor site? Sure!" I really wish that they would all get on the same page about it. It's another thing that annoys me about working there, is that it seems like all the managers have different ideas of how the rules work.

I am one of those people who has to have everything to complete a collection but Right now I am not really wanting the "It's a Live Girls" Since I do not find them appealing at all. Would my Collection be Complete with out them?
I also do not hae the CAM Lab since it has not shown up in my area at all and I feel that time is running out for that since its last years thing. TRU is positively nasty lately, too! I bought GNO Spectra yesterday during the sale. She was 22ish down from $30 as per their in-store scanner. Today she's $35. Overnight price increase less than a week after the dolls came out? Mean!
 Yeah, TRU markets itself as all happy and brightly coloured and fun, but in reality? Just a big freakin' meanypants! 
We have a Toysrus opening in our area in the next few months. I really need a job and I've applied online and went to their career fair and I am assuming they just threw out my resume after getting their quota. I am assuming this because the company that is assisting me to find a job is talking with them and they had not heard of me nor had any of my information in their systems.
Yes ToysRus is a BIG MEANIE!

Believe me when I say working at TRU is NOT a dream job. It is so super stressful. Crazy parents, kids that run around and tear up shelves and break stuff, drooling or crying babies, stock that doesn't come in on time, stock that we get way too much of, corporate demanding impossible goals, cut backs on available hours, cleaning all sorts of stuff. Ugh. List could go on. But, at the same time I do have a lot of amazing customers and co-workers. I have some regulars who I've watched their kids grow up. It's also nice to see all the new toys and games coming out, and I like being able to help friends out by buying things for them when they need it, or finding a store that has what they want. But yeah. Maybe it's because I've had a very long unexpected shift and my ankles are killing me, but there are MUCH better jobs than at TRU. lol But yeah, Sunnie good luck on finding a new job! ^^ On another note!!!!! My store just got a shipment of HHB in! Yay! So if you're in the North Dallas TX and surrounding suburbs area the TRU in Allen has her. Also, her UPC is 746775268763, so those of you who want to try to see if their local stores have her there you go! I'm super excited because first thing tomorrow I'm going to put one on layaway. *dance*

And here my hopes that she will get a second (sig) release are shattered again. An included pet is pretty much the sign for signature... And, and the lil fly is so cute, too!

I doubt that this will be considered a 'signature' release of her. It looks like the little fly might be dressed up in a costume too (similar to Count Fabulous being in a housecoat for the Lala Tub release) and that spare outfit doesn't look anything like her prototype outfit. Also, those shoes look like Operetta remolds from one of her outfit picks.

To give people a heads up, PD2 dolls have shown up in the Dallas/Ft Worth Texas area. I picked Frankie up today. yay! Only two away from a full PD set! *dance* I'm slowly getting caught up.

What store did you see them in?
I found them at the TRU I work at (the one in Allen). Someone had already snagged Operetta when I got there, and I picked up Frankie. We DID have a truck last night so we might have gotten more.

I'm glad they had different sized girls in the vid too. I'm tired of seeing just one body type in pop culture, especially since I'm definately NOT that body type.
I liked some of the outfits they did, but they weren't nearly as OTT as the US vid. Also the lead singer chick didn't have nearly the same attitude that the US girl did. Oh well. *shrug*

Just went to toysrus and i could not use the voucher mattel sent me on monster high dolls. I am so peeved. They told me since it doesn't say monster high on it its not redemable for that product since it's not on the voucher EEERRR!
Anyone else have issue at stores with these coupons/vouchers???
I seem to recall when Mattel sent me a voucher, they told me that the stores *had* to accept them.
Thank you just read over the ltr attached to the voucher and it does say "ANY" mattel item. So took the eeciept to the manager that told me no and she refunded me and took the voucher Yeah!
yeah, it's odd that they didn't originally allow you to use the voucher on MH. I mean, the voucher says Mattel/Fischer Price on it. MH is a Mattel product. We have NEVER refused them on any Mattel or Fischer Price item at my TRU. Maybe the person was just being a big butthead?

Guys.... Guys.... I just got RM Clawdeen and she has two right feet. Really now Mattel? Is your quality control that bad? I mean, I've had something similar happen with a CAM add on pack ages ago, but that's kind of understandable. On a whole doll? Not really.
I've heard of that happening. I've also seen dolls with legs that aren't the same length. Sorry to hear that happened to you, though!
I'm just super sad because everything else on her is PERFECT. I don't want to have to risk not finding another perfect face/hair Clawdeen by returning her. ;.;
