Welcome to the Arena! And don't worry, MLP is for everyone

It would be great to see some before and after pics if you decide to restore your ponies! Best of luck, and have fun browsing the forum.  :)

Welcome to the Arena! I'd love to see some of your artworks :art:

What's your favourite blind bag pony? Or favourite pose, if picking a fav character is too difficult :D

Aww those mice are adorable! Fabulous work, and I agree with BC, the background is fine. ^.^

The others are cute too, Boysenberry Pie with her bunny friend are ready to hunt some Easter eggs! And the cats' faces are priceless, Hector looks exactly like my Toffee would if I attempted to put him in any kind of costume, lol.

This is brilliant, lol! Great work, I love this kind of creative thinking where you pick something in the original pony and design the custom around it.

I was able to buy a new (to me) car yesterday.  Still bummed that the last one was totaled by someone else but I like the new one so it's not all bad.

Hooray for a new car!

I mustered up some energy yesterday to iron a clean white tablecloth for our dining table and dig up some Easter decorations (a pair of flocked clay bunnies I bought at Flying Tiger years ago). I'm not religious but doing seasonal decorating lifts my mood, and so many Easter traditions are pagan anyway... The white tablecloth brightens up the whole room and together with the decorations makes me smile every time I enter the room.

I think I was inspired by you guys, as I made broccoli cheddar soup earlier this week  :D I've never made it before but I had some leftover cheddar from another recipe so this was perfect.

I like cooking but I'm feeling super unmotivated this weekend. I should go grocery shopping. I think I'm going to make pumpkin (or squash) soup this evening. Or maybe sweet potato, I guess that would be more appropriate for the season.

I chose Dream Beauties because we didn't have them here, and as a kid I always loved the look of FSF but never had any ;)

I chose Dream Beauties too, and partly for these reasons. I would've LOVED them, had I known about their existence as a child. :D  Some of my friends had FSF and I found them beautiful. I was also a lot into realistic horse toys and Barbie horses.

I have some petites I received along with a bunch of other ponies and accessories from a friend's childhood collection. They're cute and I'm going to keep them, but I don't have any emotional connection to them really, as they weren't part of my childhood. (Then again, they remind me of Polly Pockets, which were something that I loved as a kid, they were so tiny and fun! Maybe I would've liked the Petites, too.)

I have a small collection of G4 Blind Bags, I like the concept and the versatility, and they gave me something to buy when there weren't any interesting new brushables available, or when I didn't feel like spending a lot of money. But I still would've preferred full-sized versions of many of these characters  ;)

I adore Takaras but they're so different that I don't really associate them with MLP at all. I'll never have the means to collect them but I admire them online.

The Crossovers... Meh. Well the concept is fun but I've come to realise that I'm very picky when it comes to the mould. It needs to be balanced and the face needs to be cute (sidenote, G5 toys fail to meet both criteria and that's why I don't like them, haha - I understand that cute is subjective, though). With the crossovers I think it's the way their eyes are positioned, there's something that bothers me about them.

Great to see more of your art, your style is very cute! I like how your linework appears both relaxed and confident. And I adore your OC!

We have a commission an artist thread at the top of this forum :) You can post there. Most people have it in their signatures too :)

What BC said  :) The overall rules of trading and selling on the Arena apply, of course, but other than that we don't have special rules regarding commissions. The stickied thread is convenient especially if you offer commissions on an ongoing basis, but you're also allowed to make a separate thread to advertise - I believe most artists who only open a limited number of slots at a time prefer this way.

Good luck with your sales! And it's very kind of you to offer free adopties, too  ^.^

This is a lovely tribute, I like the TAF design and the curly hair!

I'm with those who recognise a few of the biggest hits by name but otherwise I don't have much knowledge about him or Savage Garden :D

Pokeyonekenobie, I'm so glad to hear you weren't hurt! Traffic accidents are scary! Best of luck with the shopping, I feel your pain even if I don't drive. I can't even get my bike fixed, lol. I really should stop procrastinating and just book a maintenance.

My super, super trivial complaints: I'm on the bus and would like to charge my phone but they only have usb ports at every other seat so I can't reach one... And I had two cups of coffee in the morning which was clearly the wrong choice before travelling, haha!  XD
