I'm pretty sure it was me, anyway...when I went home for Christmas I decided to bring my childhood collection back down south with me. The box hadn't been opened in YEARS and as I went through each lovely memory I came across a strange looking Butterscotch:

An extremely rare India Funskool pony!! OMG...in my own collection! I've since thought hard on where she came from and I think I may have found her when I was in college, but I can't remember clearly. I can't believe I found her lovely self at the bottom of my pony chest!
Unfortunately, I can't justify keeping her due to the fact that i *really* need the money (ironically enough to give my parents, in whose house she had been stored for a decade or more) so she will be for sale :( if you're interested shoot me a PM!

Oh wow, what a pretty pony to own. Are you sure you have to part with her?? If so, then I would start a sale thread for her in the Nirvana forum :frolic:

I really have no choice...once my parents found out she was worth something, my mom was like "Great! Now you can sell her and give me the money you owe us!" Lol! Yeah...She's a beautiful and pretty minty girl. I haven't been able to find much info on her, though. Seems there's a very sad lack of written material on India Funskool ponies!

Sorry you have to sell her...but on the bright side, getting some money to help your parents (or repay a debt, whatever the case may be) can feel like a gift in and of itself. That's how it felt when my student loans were finally paid...everything I sold to make it happen was worth it! Hopefully you will be able to buy more ponies when the finances are better!

Perhaps I'll keep her as an investment for my neices. I'm undecided right now...I guess her value should go nowhere up up, right?
