Looks like 4DE has finally tossed some pre-orders up on their site. Don't hold your breath for them to released any time soon.

i have the regular twilight one of these, and have been making plans to add wings, but i think i like this option better.

I've really been debating on buying a 4DE plush, especially Luna. They're so pretty and adorable, but I've been kinda hesitant on the $20 and $50 price tags. Probably going to jump the gun on that Trixie, though.

Thanks for sharing!!!!! Ahhhhhh soooo many preorders! I wish I could preorder them ALL! @_@ I had no idea they had plans to make :muffin:!!! I have Twilight so far. Might get Luna and decide to collect princesses and muffin from this line. Wow, they really got busy!

Awesome! That's great that they're releasing so many at once! What with how long it took the others to trickle out, I figured it would take forever to release all the ones they were planning! I don't know that I'll buy any, but that Muffin is tempting. The wings look sooo soft.... I love the coloring on Trixie, but she looks so nasty. Which is perfectly show-accurate, but I like the happier expressions on the other Trixie plushies. :)

Definitely! For the quality, these are the absolute best deal. They feel and look like the fanmade plush ponies that people pay crazy prices for!

Yeeeaaahhh...go figure.
I know there was a way to pre-order the plushies before on a different site, but it doesn't seem like that's possible anymore.
I really hope they make it easy for us and just put the items up on their own site. I'm not entirely sure why they didn't do that, seeing as they kept saying they'd put Fluttershy up for pre-sale and never did.

I agree. If I was confident in my own skills, I would just make her a pair of wings myself along with some accessories since I have 4DE's regular Twilight.

i agree on the crown, but her wings are closed most of the time in the show.
so i'm kinda happy they're closed, but i wish they had a varient of them opened too.

I couldn't resist pre-ordering Fluttershy. I've been eyeing her ever since I first saw her! Will have to get Luna as soon as I can afford her, too...I already have a fan-made Luna plush that I adore, but oh MAN that 4DE Luna looks so amazing! Actually I think my buddy might like her. Maybe I'll get one for him lol.

I actually think $20 is a pretty fair price (they're normally $25) especially for the quality, and they're decently sized too. I love my Pinkie Pie and Twilight!
I definitely prefer these over the BAB ones. I just hate that brushable hair. >_<

I agree too. I'd WAY rather pay extra for quality and attention to detail. I LOVE that the 4DE ponies are so perfectly proportioned and look (and feel) so good in person. Plus they aren't even bootlegs! Win.
Just FYI- a LOT of comic shops now sell stuff on ebay. I had emailed a few of them to see if they were getting the new 4DEs in, and whether they'd pop them on ebay (like they have with Pinkie and Twilight) and all the ones I checked with confirmed they had been ordered and would be put up once they came in. I am just hoping there is enough for everyone!
Also I am wondering why Midtown comics didn't order the 4DE Big Macintosh?

That's good to know! I got both Twilight and Pinkie from an comic book shop seller on eBay, so the shipping was free. I'll keep my eye out for that this time around.
I was a little disappointed that Big Mac wasn't listed on there. I need a plush of best big brother!

I love that Luna is a 16" pony! I don't think her pictures on the comic shop do her justice- here's a better one! I like that they are using a technique that I've seen a number of customizers use for Luna in order to give a more translucent quality to her mane- looks really good... GREAT colors too. She looks nearly as good as a pony that I commissioned from a plushie artist- well worth $50.

They did make her! A little while back there was an order form to take to a comic book shop, and she was listed.
My local comic book shop said they'll order the ponies and reserve them for me whenever I let them know which ones I want. I'm going to see if Celestia is one of the ones I can order. If so, I'll go for her and Luna before I get the rest!

It looks like Celestia may be up for the next round of pre-orders. I know there's still Big Mac, Future Twilight Sparkle, etc. that weren't listed, so I'm assuming we'll see them later.

Being that it took forever for 4DE to produce and release Twilight and Pinkie (those got delayed if I am not mistaken) I'm willing to bet we wont see these guys until next year sometime in spring, lol.

ALL of 4DE's products have been much later than they had hoped for- so the fact that she is late is not at all a surprise for me.
I ordered Luna from Midtown comics as well, I have ordered things from them in the past and find them to be trustworthy. I hope I don't get burned! It does make me nervous to preorder something so far in advance, especially when they were using images before 4DE authorized them to be used....
but LUNA!!!! I was too afraid she'd sell out instantly and I'd have to scramble for her.

That's true. I don't remember if Twilight was delayed (I got her after she had already been available anyway) but I remember Pinkie taking a while, and then they kept saying that Fluttershy was on her way aaaaannnd...yeah. :lol:

I just noticed that Toywiz now says that Luna is coming in JANUARY, and while I could find that Luna preorder on Midtown by following the link on the first page of this thread, I couldn't find it using a search.... so I bet Luna will be late. In fact, I just found my old email string with the 4DE people, and they were anticipating Luna in early 2015 so actually I would be shocked if she came out as early as December. I think Midtown got the dates wrong ...
I don't know how I didn't notice before but the 4DE Luna has such TINY WINGS! I MAY have to do a wing transplant, we'll see...

Toywiz has a habit of listing release dates way after whatever anyone else has them set for. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see these until next year. Getting them this week or next is extremely optimistic, and I'd love for it to happen. I wouldn't get my hopes up, though.

I'm very interested to see if these actually start shipping sometime. I haven't jumped in on any preordering yet, I think I'm kind of burnt out on the fact that Fluttershy was predicted to be available in October last year. Plus I would prefer to order through 4DE's own website like I did for Twilight and Pinkie.
Has there been any news about the mini versions of the mane six plushies, or have they dropped that idea? I was REALLY looking forward to having a tiny Fluttershy plush, too.

The numbers in stock vary, but seem to be hanging around 12 of each. Release date is the 1st of December; that's tomorrow! However, I'm a little suspicious that all of them seem to still be using their prototype pictures.

Yeah, I got an email letting me know Fluttershy didn't arrive, so they'll ship her separately when she does. I guess, in a nutshell, I just preordered one :P Oh well. I was hoping, but not expecting, 4DE to actually get their stuff together for once.

The comic store I preordered these at had bad news for us today. Apparently all their 4DE orders have been completely cancelled - something on the manufacturer's end, but the store doesn't know why. Apparently when things get cancelled through Diamond Select the stores get no information nor do they know if/when they'll come back up for sale.
I preordered these plushes back in June or July, when they first appeared on Diamond Select's catalog. So I got a refund and I'll have to replace my order if they ever come back up for sale.
I just want to post this here, because it may have happened to someone else. If you ordered through a store that uses Diamond Select, it may be a good idea to confirm that your order is still going through.
I am really annoyed. I preordered (and paid for!) these way back in early summer and now my order's cancelled. And the preorders at Midtown comics are sold out so I'm kinda out of luck :/ I've messaged 4DE through facebook and emailed them, so I hope they respond and at least let me know if they'll become available again so I can order thru the comic store (again...). The guy who has been handling my order has been so nice and awesome through all this. I know this kind of screws them over as well.

Can't say i'm surprised they are having problems. They had trouble with just releasing one plush, so i doubted they would do well with releasing several at the same time. I also can't help but feel they are not really promoting these new plushes all that much yet? You can't even pre-order them on their official site. In fact there is no info about these new plushies at all.

Yeah, I actually would have been surprised if their plushies weren't behind schedule. I think they probably get jerked around because they are a VERY TINY company so they can't do much when there are delays....
If only I could whip out MY embroidery machine!!! Guess I'll just settle for looking forward to seeing what you make next! (and hopefully 6 months or so from now, I'll get my 4DE Luna)

I wish I was able to make my own. Plushie making is something I can't quite grasp. I can sew, and I've even made a hat before, but God forbid I try to make something in the shape of an animal. :lookround:
Yours are always awesome, though! I just wish I had the funds for a custom...maybe someday. :P

Thanks for helping to promote local comic book shops ^^ These were available for preorder four months ago and I managed to get one of each early on but they have all sold! So I'd need to make another order and Diamond (who I order from) usually takes for-freaking-EVER! However, most those prices on TW are jacked up while some are indeed the same retail we charge. Though note the preorder options. I can order the very same for half that cost as well.

They're very well worth the money...when they're released. My Twilight is absolutely my favorite pony plush. She's almost like a little custom.

I would bet on that also. I have little to no faith in 4DE releasing these plush in the next 3-6 months. I mean, Fluttershy isn't even out and they promised her release 6 months ago. It seems they really don't have their act together. It's such a shame. The plush are so nice.

I know, and for the price they can't be beat. I just wish they wouldn't announce things as "coming soon" if they really aren't coming soon at all. "Soon" isn't 6+ months later.

Those are really awesome, especially Rarity and Luna but I'd have to see them in person to decide if they're worth the money.
They're worth it. I have Pinkie Pie and Twilight and they're the best G4 plushies around right now.
4DE is pretty terrible with actually releasing them, though. :huh:

Fluttershy seemed so close to release in Oct 13, I wonder whats happening behind the scenes to delay their production so much? Seems like they bring out new prototypes all the time yet nothing is actually getting made. Even their update post about the delays is saying they have more surprises and stuff in store! My guess is that the factory made products that aren't up to snuff- and they had to be re-done?
Also it takes quite a while for a smaller manufacturer to get a licensed product approved- so maybe Hasbro is holding it up?
I really just want Luna, hope they can get her to us by January...

I think the issue is they tease their products too soon. The current 3 month pre-order period for Fluttershy is reasonable anything longer than that is a bit much :P They also seem to have issue keeping their other products such as their books in stock too.
I just love the quality of their products though so I'll be patient. I love my Twilight Sparkle. :D

Fluttershy's wait has been pretty unreasonable. I'm glad she's not my favorite pony, or I'd be even more disappointed. 4DE said she'd be released summer 2014. So she's pretty much been delayed an entire year. If they want to show teaser images, that's fine, but they need to stop giving out release dates if they're not going to stick to anywhere near them. :huh:

I am sorry I dont get the wait now. I have been involved in product launches from creation to hitting shelves off and on for 10 years. Nothing takes the kind of time frame they are talking for example on fluttershy. Or at least certainly not when they already have a license and a designed product agreed and in place. The only thing that could be tying them up is not having the financials in place to produce but if thats the case I am surprised they won a hasbro licece and from pre sales they should have got an indication of an initial production run. Unless....they are not seeing enough ordees in pre sales to go to production. With the volume of official, custom and unofficial plush about now it is kind of a saturated market.

A few batch controls, several test runs and you get to the bottom of that...or you simply change manufacturers. Selling a cheap (and they are cheap considering the detail) plush, your customers dont expect the level of finish they will get with a custom made item. And its great to try and get something perfect but you can run tests at multiple manufacturers if you are really that fussy.
So many things are hand done at a lot of Chinese factories that hand made is an easy claim even in this day and age of technology. A friend of mine is a buyer currently for a high street retailer; I remember her telling me a lot of the cushions which they stock and sell at lowish prices and how they are all literally hand stuffed by the manufacturers in China. Its not uncommon for that kind of personalised touch to just be simply how a factory works and its done so efficiently and quickly by staff they can still churn product.

Nope. I didn't pre-order them before and I'm not doing it this time. The comic book shop has the list of ponies that I'd like, and I don't have to pay until they get them in.

I'm surprised they didn't learn their lesson when Twilight and Pinkie first came out. The audience for these plushes may not be big, but it's big enough to sell out with a smaller company, and fast.
If there's one good thing to come of the wait, it gives you more time to save up.

I'm really sad they still haven't been released. I ordered one thinking it would be a Christmas present, and every few weeks they move the ship date out further and further. I hope it will at least get to my sister by her Birthday in May. Geez.

Apparently Rarity is up for pre-order on 4DE's site, but so is Fluttershy still.
The owner of the comic book shop we go to assured my fiancé that our order for the rest of the mane 6 (sans Pinkie and Twilight since I have them) has been put in and we don't have to pay until they get them in. I'm thankful for that, was just hoping it'd be a lot sooner... I really didn't want them all to be released at once, but at this rate...

I checked today in their ordering system and saw all the product pages from Diamond Select with the RED X and marked CANCELLED. They told me to just go forth and order directly from 4DE instead, which I'll be doing.

Well, Pinkie Pie has been out for a while now. I ordered both her and Twilight on eBay forever ago because they were $24 each with free shipping, and I recall that the shipping from 4DE was kind of ridiculous.
Yup, $11 to ship one pony from CA to PA as opposed to not having to pay for shipping if my comic book store order is still in place, which I'm worried about now. :(

I wouldn't count on ordering anything past Twilight and Pinkie from a comic shop. Months ago I inquired at one of my local shops about potentially ordering a Celestia or Muffins and the shop owner was just as stumped as I was about their ordering process and odd cancellations. Not to mention the fact that 4DE was essentially wanting everyone to order full cases of like 6+ plushies of single characters, not mixed cases. It can be a big gamble for a small shop if they aren't positive their customers will just eat them up seeing as most of them aren't toy stores.

My best friend called her local comic shop today and was told her orders through Diamond Select had been canceled because 4de failed to meet their release date. We both went ahead and pre-ordered everyone we wanted off Big Bad Toy Store since their shipping prices are more reasonable.

I suspect you are right. Given that it has taken them approximately 2+ years per pony (I have an email from 4DE in March 2013 about Fluttershy "coming soon" lol) it seems like the cartoon will be cancelled well before they even finish the mane 6. Unfortunately, Luna seems to be pretty far down the list... :P So disappointing, because that Luna looks SO GOOD! Too bad she is essentially just a custom at this point

Hopefully everyone can get their pre-order money back with little issue. 4DE should be ashamed of themselves at this point for leading people on for two years now and tying so many people's money up by putting release dates out that they couldn't keep(again). The negative part of me wants to say that these plush are probably never coming out, but the optimistic part of me will say that I don't expect even Fluttershy until at least Fall of this year and no earlier. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it didn't happen this year at all either.

It would most definitely help. At least it would let everyone know that 4DE isn't just outright ignoring the folks who pre-ordered. Although updates would probably only go over well for so long.

Though 4DE definitely has issues they need to address and should make some sort of update for customers, the comic stores that put up releases other than Fluttershy who is coming "soon" were not actually supposed to put pre-orders up for the plushies. Any pre-orders that were made other than for Fluttershy and now Rarity who is up on the 4DE site are really on the hands of those comic stores/Diamond Select and not 4DE. I hope people can get their money back, and I hope 4DE pulls things together and gets this stuff released very very soon.

I was finally able to cancel my Midtown comic order for Luna and Trixie- it took them so long to get back to me!
I really want that Luna- but I am not so sure Midtown is equipt to track pre-orders that last a year or more... and we don't actually know if 4DE is even going to come through with some of the more complicated ponies- like Luna.
So I'll figure out a way to get Luna again when and IF she ever is made... but I won't hold my breath.

Yeah, I finally found out that my order was canceled at the comic book store. I'm going to wait for the pre-orders on 4DE's site to turn into actual orders when they get the plushies in stock, then I'll see about ordering from them.

Their Twitter feed said Spring, then June I think. But yeah... My daughter paid me for a Rarity back in January and still nothing. I'm getting a little pissed to be honest.

I talk to one of the customer service people at 4de once and a while, she had this to say regarding which toys release when. Had this convo back in mid June.
"Regarding Doctor, yes he's the last toy we expect to ship in this batch. We were trying to get AJ, :muffin: Pony and Trixie in too, but they'll probably have to wait until the next batch a few weeks to a couple months later. "
They certainly got the couple months part right. AJ, Muffins and Trixie will come out eventually. 4de's still a good company, they do deliver but it does take a while.

Yeah, at this point pre-orders mean nothing. They can put up all the pre-orders they want, but it won't mean a thing until we see some actual products in people's hands.
Not counting Twilight and Pinkie, of course. Those have been out for at least two years at this point.
Build a Bear has put out how many ponies in the past two years? Funrise, too. Even TY and Aurora have gone through design changes with their plushies and have gotten them out on the shelves in decent time.
I know 4DE is a small company, but this is ridiculous.

The other side of the fandom has pretty much had it with them at this point too. By the time they finally start making them there's a good chance fans will have already moved on with Auroras or Olyfactory ones.

I ordered literally one of ever pre-order, and I'm getting to the point where I want to get my money back. I feel like they stole my money. They're completely lazy in their attempts to actually, you know, get their products out into the hands of loyal customers. They're not even updating their Twitter with any news these days.
I'm REALLY disappointed in this company, and would rather spend a couple hundred dollars on a hand-made plushie that I'll actually GET rather than spend money on an inexpensive but quality plushie that will never get delivered. 4DE really dropped the ball on this one. I'd rather them not have these up for pre-sale until they are ready to be shipped. Or at least til they have a set DATE for shipment. Can't express my disgust for this company enough.

Has everyone been waiting on preorders from stores or from 4DE's site itself? It's possible that stores and distributors have jumped the gun in the past.
If everybody's waiting for preorders direct from 4DE, then that's a real shame and they should be doing much more to manage their customers' expectations.

I really like their version of Fluttershy and I already have a Nici Pinkie and a Ty Twilight, so I've been watching and waiting to see when she'd be available to add another girl to my herd (I kind of like that they're different; I feel like different plush styles suit different ponies.) But it's been 'coming soon' for something like a year? It does seem like they do not really have their act together and supposed delivery dates just get pushed further and further back. It's really a shame, because in terms of looks, quality and show accuracy the prototypes they've shown have been amazing.

I've been buying like...every other pony plushie made officially and I've even gotten a few of the Only Factory ones. At this point I don't think we'll be seeing any more 4DE ones any time soon. :( It's such a shame, the Twilight and Pinkie ones are SO well made! I was hoping to at least get the rest of the mane 6.
