Assuming they make it to the U.S I will be buying these. I absolutely love how cool the markings on them are! I don't understand how anyone could hate them to be honest, they're pretty interesting and have a lot going on.  It's a nice contrast when you consider how boring G4 brushables have been for the last year or two. Also, I'm willing to bet that many will warm up to them or buy them regardless of whether or not they are "ugly"  I'm also sensing some future regret for some of the folks who decide to acetone them down. Unless it's going to be a custom or a restoration most folks wouldn't throw acetone on a G1 Twice as Fancy because their paint jobs deviate from the normal formula so why throw acetone all over a G4 just so it "fits in" with the other standard releases?

Helia and Lotus!!! I have been DYING for a lotus forever! I hope those things can come off. It would be easier on the eyes if they weren't outlined in black.

I was so excited until I saw the photos. I really hoped they'd make a Helia brushable, but not like this.. I hate the black outlines, especially on their symbols. I really miss the days of brushable ponies without extraneous designs all over their bodies. (It might not be too bad if the 'tattoos' actually went over both sides of their bodies, but they prolly won't D:)

Oh well, hopefully they'll be TRU exclusives like the Ponymania set.

Meh. I don't hate them, but I'm not in love with them...Something is off. I think I would like these ponies better if the black outlines weren't there...maybe? Or maybe if the designs were a little smaller. Or maybe if the colors on the designs were more pastel, like the colors of the ponies' hair and bodies. Or maybe all of the above...

This isn't just a deviation from the norm - these symbols they put all over the bodies stand out a lot. They almost look like stickers that were placed on the bodies (which is mostly due to the black outlines). TAF G1 ponies have symbols that are uniform, and just look more graceful. I'm not "meh" about these ponies because they don't fit in, I'm "meh" about them because I'm just not crazy about the specific designs used. I personally really like the extra symbols on the Cutie Mark Magic line.

Because there's room in-between? If I'm okay with my fries having a single drop of ketchup, I'm not obligated to be okay with them having seventy gallons of ketchup.

I actually really like Helia's patterns; they are completely over the top but I think they're really groovy.

Do you have another colander you could share?

I absolutely love these designs and wish that Hasbro would have created them sooner. Could do without the facial and regular symbols, however.

I actually like the black outline on Lotus I think that part looks good.

I like new characters but... the... designs are way too over the top for me I don't really care for them that much... guess that means more money in my pocket

TAF is fine but what in the world were they trying to do here?
