I am with those with long "hmmmmm"s about this. I was expecting a G4 Firefly dollymix type. A rooted Blind bag. A filly. Something.
I was not expecting a G1 mold. It CAN'T be full size can it? With THAT comb? It's too good to be true!!

I'm going to wait to buy. I will buy regardless because it is a G1 thing and I want those back....but still.

Okay, the price on Amazon right now is only $6.29. For a re-release of a G1 (with extras) this is an amazing price! Of course, I have prime, so I don't have to worry about shipping prices, but even with shipping I think this is a good pre-order price. Needless to say, I pre-ordered it. Before Amazon decides to increase the cost.

Definitely interested and want this. I hope it sells well and they decide to make more, I want a Medley!

Maybe by small, it will be closer to the normal G4 sizes? April seems to far away to find out.

As far as I know, the government has only required choking hazards on toys since... sometime between 2000 and 2010, anyway. So there's that.
I can't imagine it's full size, though. G1s are HUGE compared of g4s. In any case, that price is def going up. I can dish out 6 bucks on a gamble hehehe. I hope the other side of that box is plastic, so I can keep her MIB. It looks like it, but I've been fooled by packaging shots before lol.

wow  6.29  for  a  new G1 and a book !!!   what an awesome deal ,   just did my pre ordering for it , along to the other book also releasing next year

They take the money when they ship the item, and they charge you the cheapest price that was on the item before it gets shipped to you. Meaning: if the price drops to, say, $6 sometime before April, I will save 29 cents. Likewise if the price increases to $20 I will still only pay $6.29.

::Edit:: Oh, and if we find out that this item is a fraud or something before release date, you can cancel your pre-order any time you want. It's a win-win situation!

  yes , it is correct , I pre ordered the season 1 DVD and the price dropped and I got it for  less than when I ordered it ,pretty cool

This is one of those little book/kit sets that you find near the registers at bookstores and other places. You know like there's a mini bonsai one, and a sushi thing, and a sand garden. Running Press makes a ton of them.

Sooo yeah, my guess is still dollymix or similar. That listing image just has a picture of G1 firefly photoshopped onto it. Now I guess it's possible that they could reproduce a mini in that pose, but that product image is just a photo of G1 firefly scaled down to the size of the box (which is 1.8 x 2.8 x 3.2 inches.)

That said, I'll still preorder. It will be a cool item to have no matter what ^_^
