Help me figure out what ponies are in this box! D: its a mystery!!!

I was at walmart tonight picking up some snacks because we're about to get snowed in, and i saw the stack of toy boxes from last night. a box of so soft sweetie belles, some of the new ponies with luggage that i dug through the night before (that's another story >_>) and then i moved the sweetie belle box hoping to see one for fashion style ponies but no. there was a box marked "MLP DELUXE ASST. 8" :o DELUXE?!? THAT ALWAYS MEANS ITS SOMETHING AWESOME!!!!!

but nobody was around to open for me and i was scared i'd get in trouble if i just whipped out my pocket knife and popped that baby open!
does anyone have any idea what deluxe assortment of 8 this could possibly be?! it wasn't a large box either, it was kind of small.

OOooh. Somebody was bad and didn't put the box back where it belonged.   We'd get in so much trouble for hiding boxes behind stuff instead of putting it back on the pallete!

My guess, if it was small, it would be a box of the luggage ponies. o_O  I don't know of any other pony products though... it would either be those or fashion styles. But a small box wouldn't be marked deluxe?  Maybe it's deluxe cause it has ponies, stickers, luggage, and a DVD? ;o

well the luggage ponies came in a box of 12 and they had 2 of them. and their boxes said "MLP DOLLS 12"

I've seen something called "Deluxe" on the tags before.... either the Glimmer Wings or Shine Bright I think...

Was the box big? Maybe it was the fashion style ponies?

OOOOHHHH!  You should have opened it anyway!    I would have.  I used to work at a Walmart, in the toy department, that is probably the only reason I would have had the courage to do it but I know that no one would have cared if you opened it to look at them.  You couldn't get in trouble for it.   Only if you tried to buy something that was not soposed to be on the sales floor yet.  We would get that kind of stuff all the time.  Boxes with Huge dates on them.  Do Not Sell Before.......
 
But anyway when I worked there, I'd see people pop open boxes all the time.  And I'd think what in the world are they doing but being a toy collector myself, I figured they were opening them for the same reason I would have wanted to open one.  Usually it was the hot wheels or transformers.  I had a few regular collectors come in for those all the time.  No MLP collectors though,  .  I would have loved to chat, pony! 
 
I'm pretty sure they were the glimmer wings though.  You can check the price tags where the glimmer wings hang or any other pony shelf tag for that matter and one of them will probably say Deluxe on it.  If not then maybe it was a new set of ponies.

I would have peeked lol - I have no self control, if someone caught me, I would have just said "well, the box was there, I wanted to know what was in it" as long as you didn't drag stuff out & start spreading their stock all over the place, there isn't really much they could do about it.

However, I kinda want to say Glimmer Wings as well...I think I have seen them referred to as deluxe somewhere in the past...

I've seen that tag on stuff at my Wal-Mart too, I think it was the Glimmer Wings. :3
