And there have been quite a few sellers with that Sunset Shimmer listed in the last few months. At least 4 or 5 on ebay and Taobao.

Even tho it is more Mane 6, I love the colorful hair streaks AND tinsel. I'm disappointed they don't have all the details the box art does but that can be fixed with a little paint. See if they are going to rerelease the Mane 6 I'd rather have stuff like this than paper masks. Tho I do wonder if anyone has seen any other ponies with hair like this besides these 4 and Applejack. For some reason I don't remember a Sunset Shimmer with this type of tinsel popping up. Maybe they will just add Applejack and double one of them?

The first one has the wrong type of tinsel and the second one has Twi's hair color.

Enough with the tinsel and weird eyes!!! Please just give us new ponies that aren't all in a gift set surrounded by duplicates of the mane 6.  I think Twilight needs to have her own kingdom where she makes new friends.  That way we get new merch.  Then her Ponyville friends can come visit at regular intervals or can be featured in their own story arches.  Since Hasbro obviously won't make new toys of the HUNDREDS of other ponies in the show, I don't know what else to suggest.

LOL Same here. I bought the glitter ones off Taobao a while back and now they are in Target. I still want to get another set just so they are MOC. We are the same way.

I'd rather them release Minty by herself with a tiny Christmas cane at Christmas time and be a "special limited holiday" pony than these. And Hasbro, I'd pay $14.99 for JUST MINTY ON A CARD.

Augh, no comment on the lack of new characters. 

I do really love the idea of this line, though.  I just wish the actual ponies looked more like their box art with the extra designs and colors added to their bodies.  Especially for Fluttershy - her box art/prototypes have such beautiful colors so I'm quite disappointed they just used pink tinsel in her hair.  I do think Rarity looks lovely, however!

Good cards, crappy characters.

On another note, why the heck does everyone complain about the old Fluttershy eyes? I really liked them! They were cute and different from the other pony characters, and gave her some personality. These wide-open eyes she now has look super creepy... she looks like a deer in the headlights. I wish we had gotten more toys with these eyes than just Fluttershy and Blossomworth!

One more comment: all the other girls got extra colors in their hair, but did Rainbow Dash? I wonder, is her mane and tail normal, aside from the tinsel?

umm, pretty much everyone hates the 'new' eyes versus the old ones. I hate the old eyes. They looked too weird.

This feels like a particularly cruel marketing plan. Get near everyone bummed out with endless mane 6 singles, so that we'll throw our money at the more expensive mulipacks or playsets to get new ponies :/
