The piggy aesthetic - can anyone explain?

Or are you referring to someone's art style? Or are you referring to the difference between g1 and g4 art styles?

Sorry too cryptic! I meant both toys and art, the aesthetic of pig like shapes for ponies in the my little pony world. I like pigs and ponies but not too keen on the pig shaped ponies with pony faces, skinny lower legs and little trotters. Some people are mad for them! I was hoping someone would share why they like them so much

OK, thank you! I'm not really into Nirvana or G4 so I guess maybe it's just a familiarity thing. I don't want to post anyone's art here in case I'm misinterpreting it so I guess I'll just sit back and continue to marvel at the diversity of the my little pony world

yeah I guess it must be something new that I am unfamilar with. Besides the G1 Piggy ponies I am not sure that I've seen any other piggy ponies or piggy pony art
