I'll pass, she's not really my jam. My birthday is in January but the relevant goodies never seem to appeal to me. :/

Congratulations on your amp, Glitterball! The thing that made me smile today was seeing a heron from my bedroom window! I thought it was a herring gull at first, as there have been some massive ones around here recently but then it turned around to land in a garden and revealed its majestic posture. Collared doves have started visiting again as well, so it's been a good day for birds!

Sorry that you have to deal with that, Taffeta. My complaint is that I can't work up the motivation to start blogging again. I made plans and set a goal to make a start on it, but it hasn't happened yet because even when the desire to do it is there, I inevitably end up getting nervous at the last minute and not going through with it.

Ooh, I love metal covers of VGM. I have some from Ecco too! Defender of the Future (one of my all time fav video games).
Defender of the Future is such a beautiful game, although I was never able to finish it back when it was new. I really need to revisit it sometime and hopefully complete it, ideally on the Dreamcast for maximum nostalgia. As for what I'm currently listening to, that's the birds in the garden and a documentary about the early days of the internet in the background. It's a very relaxing combination.

I went ahead and treated myself to Basic Fun Seashell and Sparkler as my 30th birthday is sneaking ever closer; hopefully they'll arrive in time!

Weightless For All Mankind by Brian Eno Quite possibly the least metal thing ever, but just my luck, the mp3 player won't let me add or remove any music at all, and the only lively stuff on there right now is a few power metal renditions of tunes from Ecco the Dolphin.

I ended up locked out of the house this morning and had to trek into town to borrow my dad's keys. Not exactly a stunning start to the year. I am very much feeling this at the moment: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Definitely Basic Fun Heart Throb! It was very exciting to be able to get one of my long-standing grails as a brand new pony.

My favourite is Cloud Climber's pose as it looks really cheerful and lively; there are also a lot of absolutely beautiful ponies in that stance, like Aurora Mist, Snow'el II and Morning Monarch. My least favourite poses in G3 are the Core 7 one and the dreaded broken neck one.

She's new to me and I'll pass. Design-wise, she's not my cup of tea but I do think that Winter Wish is a really cute name.

In the Flame of Error by Coheed and Cambria, while a massive barrage of fireworks is going off outside. Quite a dramatic combination!
