Help with sticky legs?
« on: November 07, 2019, 08:17:48 AM »
Hi! I just got myself a big load of Lady Lovely Locks dolls and found that they all have sticky legs and arms. I am guessing that its the plasticizer which is leaking so I need something to help against it. I know other people have had issues with the plasticizer and I should look at those topics, however there is one issue, I live in Sweden. We dont have the same brands or names for things so I basically dont know what to look for over here...
I really hope someone can help so I can get these cuties fixed up.

For some reason a lot of the dolls Mattel produced during a certain time period have sticky legs/arms My Lady Lovely Locks Maiden Fair Hair and Jewel Secrets Whitney/Laura have sticky legs too.

A lot of people have had short term success using baby powder. You can apply it to the sticky parts of the doll and it works for a little while but it does have to be reapplied when the doll starts to become sticky again.
