I always called Baby Beachball "Baby Island Magic" because the one I bought at the store did not have a name on the card. On the back it said "Island Magic" so I assumed that must be her name. I was so surprised many years later when I found out that was not her name. She will always be "Baby Island Magic" to me though.

I completely understand. Long ago, I gave away and traded some of my childhood ponies and I still miss them a lot, even though I got replacements later on. I just feel like that's not the same as having my childhood ones. On the good side, I have a ton of childhood ponies and I kept most of them so it's only a small number that I'm missing. I also sold off some ponies I loved (not childhood ones) and even though I bought replacements later on, I feel like it is not the same as if I could have back the ones I had and I miss them. I also miss a few that I know I will never be able to afford to replace that I sold for a very cheap price compared to their value nowadays.

I'm still here and have been in the pony community since early '97. I sometimes think about the people I knew back then and wonder if they are still around in the pony community. I probably have had times where I didn't sign in for years and I don't usually post much. I just tend to read more than I post. I had mostly quit collecting ponies, but I love collecting the Basic Fun ponies. I love this forum and would be sad if it ever became completely inactive. I'm really glad to see there are still people posting here, though I agree it's not as active as it once was.

Confetti because she was a childhood favorite and I just love her pose, colors and glittery symbol. Trickles, also a childhood favorite for the same reasons as Confetti. Starshine because I love her colors and symbol and I love how my mom got her for me as a surprise one day. Sunlight because I love her colors.
I love all the rainbow ponies!

Polaris and Aurora because I love Posey's pose. I put Polaris above Aurora though since Aurora reminds me too much of Melody and Sweet Blossom. Melody and Sweet Blossom are among my most favorites, but I really like seeing color combinations that haven't already been used for Posey's pose.

I found the pearlized Blossom/Cotton Candy set at Target on the endcaps with Pound Puppies, etc. I ordered the Celestial ponies at Walmart.com yesterday (except they don't have Aurora in stock yet--so strange). My order has been shipped and will arrived the day after tomorrow! The ponies are in stock again at Walmart currently (for a while they went out of stock), except still no Aurora. Update: all are currently in stock on Amazon now! https://www.amazon.com/My-Little-Pony-Celestial-Ponies/dp/B0BPK2351F

I can't really think of any besides some of what has already been mentioned: blind bags, ponies with molded on hair, scented ponies (I love the ponies themselves, but the scents are often way too much for me and I think it can lead to discoloration of the ponies), sparkle ponies (I don't like the plasticiser leaking either, yuck!). I generally prefer ponies without tinsel and glitter also, though I can think it's nice on certain ponies, like the princess ponies. I'd rather not have it on most ponies though, just on a tiny few.

1. G1 because it was the start of it all and what I first knew of as MLP. It had ponies that looked the most like ponies (I love horses). It had a huge, fun variety of ponies and it lasted the longest. The ponies seem high quality. I have ponies decades old that still look perfect. The backcard art was the best and they had such great accessories and playsets, mail orders, etc. Plus, I absolutely loved the episodes, the movie and all the pony songs.
2. G3 because the ponies also looked the most like ponies and there was such a large number of ponies (though not as much variety like in G1--I'd have loved to see Big Brother G3 ponies). I don't think the episodes and movies of G3 were as good, but I did like them. I remember watching two G3 movies in theaters and was surprised any got to be in theaters. I loved the G3s so much and collected a ton of them, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the toys--I feel like the G3s plastic is deteriorating a lot faster than G1s.
2. G4 because of the amazing show and movies and the memorable ponies. I especially love Maud Pie and Fluttershy. I wasn't a fan of the toys at first, but once I watched the show, I liked the toys too and I collected a couple dozen or so.
2. G2 - they did not really look like horses anymore so I wasn't as fond of them and unfortunately, they had no show, though I enjoyed the PC game with them. I did like them and collected them. Even though I am not as fond of the toys, they do evoke happy memories and my favorite is Eve.
3. G5 - I love the movie, but the toys just don't seem as much like MLP that much to me. I bought a set of them, but am probably going to get rid of them, except for maybe Sunny and Izzy, as I like them the most in the movie.
4. G4.5 - are these the ones that look cat like? Those don't really seem like MLP to me. I did buy Potion Nova for some reason. G3.5 don't seem much like MLP to me either though and I never bought any of those.

Gingerbread's price was $12.99 (and Fizzy was $22.50) on Jan 5th so it does seem like the prices can change. Hopefully, Gingerbread's price will go back down again. I'm so glad to see Fizzy's price went down so much. I don't recall any BF ponies at Walmart since the Collector set either, but I always bought my ponies from Target so I'm not really sure. I agree it does seem like a good sign! I hope someday Target will have ponies again too.

Rainbow Dash, Wysteria, Sweetberry, Sunny Daze, Pinkie Pie and Kimono from Toys R' Us. Rainbow Dash is my favorite of those. I really like the Basic Fun version of her too.

They look amazing! I want them all! I wish they would make Galaxy too! I'm really looking forward to having them! It would be so nice if they could make more Twinkle Eyes, especially any prone to discoloration.

I ordered Breyers from the official site and they came in multiple packages even though their website lists only one tracking number. Click that number and does it say "1 of 2 piece shipment"? There is another tracking number if you click on that and it's a 2 piece shipment. Other times Breyer messes up and doesn't give me tracking for both items. I ordered two items recently and they showed up in different packages--one I never got any tracking for. On their site it looks like they were shipped together, but they were not. For the items you did get, was there a packing slip that lists Arctic Grandeur on it? My Breyer packing slips usually list all the items in the box.
As far as contacting Breyer, I once emailed them about something and never got a response. Another time I got a response, but it took quite a while I think. You might have to call them or email them again if the horse doesn't show up soon. The website says they ship in late October so I would guess they're probably shipping now. As for Arctic Grandeur being out, I have him--I just got the one I pre-ordered from a Breyer dealer yesterday. I got a horse from Breyer that still said backorder on the site. I hope he shows up soon. He is beautiful! I have the pin too!
