does anyone else find they have to hide their ponys from their daughters or any children? i have a three year old daughter who has her own my little pony collection but she still steals mine i caught her yesterday running up the stairs with one of mine in her hand oi thats mine i shout the reply i got was no mine now love you mummy what could i say to that.
she did it again today this time it was a bigish pony it has no hair but she still wants it lol what can i do other tha chop her hands off ( which i would never do) i need more space a room just for me
-
I hide mine from everyone! There are always kids coming around here and they grab anything that is not nailed down!
I also have 2 cats that get into everything!
I hide my ponies to keep them from getting lost or abused!
-
ive tryed that but she always finds them its like she can smell ponys out lol
-
They have their own ponies, so they pretty much leave mine alone. :)
-
thats the ting she has her own and there are tons of hers i only have a few
-
My girls have their own ponies - the vast majority of mine are in storage in our garage. But they beg me all the time to see my collection. I do have a select few Nirvanas on display in my bedroom, and my two-year-old always wants to get at them.
-
my daughter loves it when she see them all fixed and looking pretty but i have to put them on a high shelf else she would steal them aswell
-
I don't have kids and my pets wouldn't dare so I don't have a problem.
-
I've never had that sort of problem, I supose you could try locking them up but then you couldn't enjoy them either.
-
I have all mine in our bedroom. My kids love them, and I have the lower shelves for ponies I don't mind them playing with (McD, some G3, Ponyville tinies), and they love it, but they know that those ponies are mommy's and they stay in mommy's room. They just... know. My daughter has lots of her own ponies, and she keeps bringing them up with her to put on my shelves as well. It's kinda cute. I just really needed to set the rules right from the beginning... they could play with them, but only in my room, and when we have to leave, the ponies have to stay. :)

My cat enjoys trying to chew on the hair. I had to move them to a place he could not access and things are a lot better now! Animals are crafty little beings.
-
My cat knocks mine off display, grrr, but others are behind glass he cant get. An my 2yr old definately loves mine, even tho she has stacks of hers, she tells the lady at the checkout when im buying ponies, that ones for mummy, this ones for me lol. She knows not to touch mine, but I often see her just staring at them. And when ever im doing customs she lines hers up next to me to watch! Cute.
-
I told my god son that the ponies in the cabinet are very old and so they might get sick if we take them out and play with them... a little mean maybe but I do have G4s that he and his sister are welcome to play with.
-
My son has his own ponies, so I'm good. 8)
I do hide the custom ones ... cause you know.
-
yeah my daughter would kill the customs but she likes to steal my bait alot and my ponys she is a bit better at the moment as she is playing with her lego alot mo thankfully
-
Saja, that is adorable! I wonder what my daughter would do if I was to do customs. I just cleaned up a McD bait to prep for custom, and she was asking what happened to her eyes, haha.
-
No kids here, and my dog doesn't care about anything that isn't food, so I can leave my toys scattered about and they will never be bothered.
-
oh how i wish i could leave mine lying round the place it would make life easyier :|
-
I have too many to hide. But since my room is full of ponies I let only people visit me that I can trust.
-
Eeh, I wouldn't be able to handle the thought of kiddies with sticky fingers handling some of my nirvana ponies... Even though they have probably all been through that about 20 years ago anyway...
