Wonderland Alice~ Twisted Swap for Roogna

I did this for Roogna for the Twisted Fairy tale Swap. Her likes where Alice's Adventures in wonderland/ through the looking glass and the Alice American McGhee's Alice and Alice: Madness Returns, with favorite characters  being  Red Queen, Queen of Hearts, Alice, The Mad Hatter/Hatta, Cheshire and the rabbit. So I tried incorporating all into one piece. So this is Alice becoming wonderland. Details scupted with Apoxie, then painted in acrylics with blood accent glossed. Hair was hand dyed.

Absolutely stunning. So clever. When you describe trying to put all those things into one pony, it sounds like craziness, but you executed it so well. And of course your painting skills are phenomenal. Not sure I've ever seen anything you've done that wasn't perfect, but this is really really clever. So dark. I'm in love with BOTH sides of her face. The hat is just gorgeous (the stitches, I LOVE), and her hair blend is the perfect mixture of Alice's pretty dainty blonde sinking into lusty burgundy madness. Her dress and socks are perfect, too.

So awesome.
This is the kind of custom that inspires new pony artists.

This is simply fantastic, such a clever design and awe-inspiring execution. There are so many details to look at, yet the overall look is coherent, not busy at all. I love her dress!
