If you could do any one activity, what would it be?

Climbing a mountain? Bungee Jumping? Swimming with whales?

If you could pick one activity to try, what would you pick?

I've always wanted to go scuba diving, so I would pick that

Unrealistic things:  Swim with manatees (illegal), swim with whale sharks (you can't touch them or swim within 500 ft), visit the Titanic (obvious reasons but Ocean Gate made that even more obvious).

Slightly more realistic:  visit Mayan ruins (that aren't being controlled by the cartels), visit Egypt (hello gender discrimination and violence), go to Disney World again, go to Hawaii (i get so motion sick, I don't know how I would cope with such a long flight)

Probably could manage:  going to the indoor skydiving training centre (they put you in a wind tunnel essentially)

One activity...

I'd like to be able to do more exploratory walking around places I don't know. My navigation means that I don't get to do that as much as I like, unless someone else is with me I'm basically a liability. Whenever I go away, I have to plan things like hotels near transport hubs and so on. I'd like to be able to just get out there and do stuff.

So really, feeding into that, I guess...drive. Because my navigation and my practical skills prevent me, but it would open up so much more freedom for me if I could. I live in a town designed for the car, in an area with a horrible bus route, surrounded by people who are always posting about things I can't get to because of these reasons.

I did try to learn to drive, for a long time, but even though I didn't cause any dangerous situations, it was pretty obvious I would not be great out on my own for above reasons. :/ So I stopped. I think it would be legally irresponsible for me to have continued to pursue it given the risk of my suddenly not knowing where I am, or trying to pull into the wrong lane because I've lost my orientation...but the assumption that 'everyone drives everywhere' can be very isolating when you don't.

So simple, ne. If I could do that, I could do ALL KINDS of things.

yeah it would be nice if instead of trying to grift "self drive" cars they could make something that makes driving more accessible for people who have a tough time driving for one reason or another. maybe someday in a future run by better people.

Just traveling. I really want to see the Northern Lights or Southern Lights at least once. traveling by air really freaks me out. if i can ever get over it i could think about traveling again. right now the anxiety i feel outweighs my want to travel. i have a long list of places i would go. Mongolia and Central Asia has always fascinated me. I want to visit the UK and Poland too since my family is English/Scottish/Polish. i think i would like to go all over Europe really, and Japan, China, India, South America. political situations are bad in so many places i want to go.

I want to see a blue whale live. I saw the skeleton of one in our Natural History museum in Stockholm this past summer and I was awed at the size. I follow gonewhalewatching on instagram and they have cought some amazing sightings.. but then I would have to travel to San Diego and I'm not too keen on going to the US..so wherever else they have a eco/whalefriendly tour to spot a blue whale would be awesome.

I've also been thinking a lot of skydiving lateley. Would I dare? Shall I wish for it on my 50th birthday?

Scuba dive & swim with sharks!!! I'd love to do that...
I doubt it'll happen though as it's expensive to do & I'd need to be fitter...

I’m trying to get under the weight limit for my longboard.
I’d love to take an aerial silks class.

LBS, it is illegal to feed or "harass" manatees here, but if you're already in the water and they come up to you, well, you can swim with them as in along side them or something. I've done it. They are very curious and generally aren't afraid of humans. They will stop and turn to look at you if you go under while they are passing by. I always wore goggles when I went swimming in the Gulf and can't tell you how many of them I've seen. One even swam right under me once and scared me

I'd like to swim with a whale shark too. I think they are wonderful
