When you seriously consider quitting smoking not for health reasons but so you can buy more ponies. (Serious addict    it's been 10 years and I've quit 4 times!)  Or think about making a smaller payment on your credit card or Keep browsing the sale forums even though you KNOW you can't buy anymore, but thinking "Maybe if I..."

When you start thinking of the cost of everything in terms of ponies.  "I could buy lunch today, or I could buy a pony with that money.  I could buy that shirt or I could buy three ponies with that money."  And so on.

This is what I was going to say- I'm in that situation right now. My friend found the most ADORABLE owl-shaped measuring cups and asked if I want in on the order she's placing... but with shipping it's enough for me to get a nice pony or a cheaper custom from one of the artists I love. But the measuring cups would look cuter in the kitchen... WHAT DO I DO?!!

I'm majoring in English, and last night I needed some MLA help but ended up typing out "MLP" instead!

I am not shy about the ponies at all and lots of people ask about them all the time.  Many people my age will post pictures of their kids or pets on Facebook... I have pictures of the ponies. Lots of people actually watch my albums for updates! It's actually very flattering and sweet...

You go into depression fits just because the show isn't airing in your area, even though it's still available on Youtube, and you actually go to bed early so you can wake up on time (which is an ungodly hour on Sunday morning) to download the episode off youtube out of fear of it getting pulled by fake takedowns from trolls in a few hours.

And oh, you still download episodes that you think you wouldn't like and only don't watch it.

Aside from that, the only thing that passes around in your mind are how to use ponies to solve everyday problems...

Also, I knew I was a pony addict when I told my husband (and by "told", I mean yelled) that I wanted German Nightlight during childbirth.  He was the only one in the room who knew I was talking about a pony     Next time I might choose an epidural instead.
