Pony Corral / Re: Information About New TRU Exclusives
« on: February 12, 2013, 08:54:56 AM »
Ah well. I do remember, early in the brony fandom when it was just getting started, an impassioned call for really good toys that catered to the fandom. And that's what we're getting, more or less. I wouldn't mind the price as much if not for the prevalence of factory errors meaning that we have to search each package to be sure we're not getting any factory rejects.

Agreed. The error problem makes buying online tricky, too. You just never know exactly what you might get.

I love Dash! She may be more expensive than a regular pony, but more effort was put into the design, and she's still a lot less than the "exclusives." I will have to have all of these.

I'm a stay-at-home mum right now but in my past life I was a chef. When i go back to work it will be strange looking for a 9-5 job cos I'm used to such silly hospitality hours (but I won't miss 16 hour shifts!!!!!!!!!!)

Me too! (Well, it was two past lives ago that I was a pastry cook. Now I'm a "photojournalist"). Kitchen life and mommy duty can be a difficult combo! I'm 33 and still trying to decide what I'm going to be when I grow up...I don't think I've had a 9-5 job since summers in high school.

Sure thing everyone! I have the sketches done, I'll have them completely done later today. Before I finalize them- any specific size you want? Wallpaper, signature, avatar, ect?

I don't have a signature yet, so that size would be perfect! Any size would be fine though. Thank you so much for doing these.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves Pawn Stars on the History Channel! I hate to admit that on more than one occasion, I have watched episodes back to back and "forgotten" to go to sleep.

My husband and I are engrossed in Downton Abbey right now. My daughter and I watch FiM and Ruby Gloom on Netflix. If it's just me, I like Once Upon A Time.

If you have time for me, I would love either G1 Gusty or Gypsy.

Oh, noooo...why are you watching me?! (runs and hides behind the couch)

Snowcatcher is such an underrated pony, IMO, and Emo snow is incredibly cute! Congrats on finding her MOC sister.

I wish they had more variety, I would die for a Fluttershy!! Could you imagine if it had a sound button in her that said '...yay...!' that would be adorable.

Agreed...that would be amazing! (Hint, hint, Build-A-Bear!)

I'm a SAHM, but at night and on the weekends I'm a freelance photographer and writer for a couple of local newspapers. It's kind of like Superman and Spiderman. Kind of. I keep telling myself that.

Avene, the Pekingese is very sweet. It is not the smartest dog or the easiest to train, but very lovable. It has a lower energy level that some breeds--it is a lap dog, basically--but he still loves to run after his mini tennis balls outside.

Shockpony, I'm pretty sure nothing is 100 percent puppy proof, especially if it involves toilet paper :)

I love seeing everyone's dogs! They're all so cool. What a great thread.

This is Roobie. He is a Pekingese. He is a ridiculous source of comic relief, especially when he snores. We have had him since October.

I don't have any full-size Pullips, but I love the little ones. Here's Froggy:
