About costumes! :D

Hello everypony!
as some of you know, i loooove creating costumes. from the first sketch to the realisation.
in the past, i did and/or helped partially on quite some pony-costumes too and i would like to share.
critique is always welcome!! probably it would be interesting for some how these costumes are made. ^^

Some of you may have seen the costumes for the grand gala cosplay project i did with a bunch of friends. here are some costumes of the project! 


Costume making start for me often with a basic theme, color combination or like this case, with a pokemon, animal of pony.
i do a bunch of loose sketches, considering thier culture, place in society and the physical apereance and likings of the person wearing the costume.

let´s start with celestia, one of my favorites:

inspired by the art nouveau style from alphonse mucha, highness celestia got this dress with soft flowing fabric and golden applications.

but let´s start from the beginning, my first costumes have been leafy and lucky leaf.
leafy was my first cosplay ever. Ona, who was lucky leaf was a wonderfull partner for this duo! ;o; 
we´re planning a more sophisticated redesign in flowery dirndl-style of them for septembers german ponycon. *excited*

the wigs modification, hornsand ears are mostlymade by me. ^^  i love working with wigs, adding horns and such.

you can barely see it, but she really has an apple ribbon on the green part of her dress. ^^

the dresses you see here are all (except applebloom) partially or completely my work. ^^

i can post the sketches of twillight, granny, Dj, rarity, fluttershy and Pinkie too, if someone is interested. ^^


my newest addiction is a human form qilin. qilins are dragonlike chinese luck-bringing vegetraians.

there often covered with scales, but i prefer an interpretation more lion-like with fur, as you see here:

there are another designs i would love to realize but i am not sure if i am allowed tob post them to public.

well, what do you think about them? this is pretty much my second obsession next to MLP.
if you need any help incostumes, from design to where to buy materials, i am more than happy to help.
