How about BNG Bouquet? Anyone sunfaded her succesfully? I've never been able to burn any ponies with the sun we have in Finland (not even Quackers or Cherry Treats) but wanted to ask anyway so I know to be extra careful.

I wish I could remember who it was, but someone on here faded a bunch of ponies and Bouquet was among them. She got great results and gave me the courage to try to fade some pen marks off mine. I was pretty happy with how white she was before, but I'm super excited with how she looks after a couple of weeks in the sun!

Oh thank you! Added some more names to the list. But of course MONITOR closely :) My sky skimmer is outside to get that nasty highlighter mark off her. Might try my G2 babies next :)

I sunfaded an Alt BF daisy, she had pink highlighter around her eye. I fully covered the rest of her just to expose her eye. She was in the conservatory for about 4 months. There is still a tiny bit of pink left but its cleaned up well & it doesn't appear to have affected her colouring.

Also found this other post with some more discussion on who to fade or not.

Has anyone here safely sunfaded Glittering Gem? I'm not sure if I can sell her without getting this marker off her.

I think I'll give her a shot then. Minty haired pony with no marker is worth a little more than minty haired pony covered in it. :P

Is Princess Tiffany okay to sunfade? Or will her tinsel and symbol melt under foil?
Thanks.

It wont melt - takes a very strong heat to do that to the tinsel and the symbol is plastic coated so its fine. However makes sure to cover them both when fading and you will be all fine.

I've gotta ask about a couple more: My new 4-Speed has marker on his face and body; magic eraser faded it but didn't remove it. TAF Milky Way has black marker on her ear and forehead. I always worry about boys because I think of them as more sunburn prone; are either of these two known to burn?

I have not heard of people having problems with either. But I would advice you to be really careful with 4 Speed - he is prone to cancer which means he could be prone to issues.

I'm currently sunfading Salty and he is coming out wonderfully (knock on wood!)! (: So I'd say he is pretty safe to sunfade!

I'm soon to be the owner of a slightly discolored Confetti (my very first G1!), and I was wondering if she was alright to sunfade? I've searched around the arena, and I've seen her come out with mixed results. I'd hate to damage her, though.

If she is sunfade-able, what's the best way to cover her symbol since it's glittery?
