Fluttershy's city adventure

Hi everyone!

I've seen a couple of threads around where people have taken their ponies on little adventures and posted pics and they looked like fun! So, when my friend and fellow pony enthusiast invited me to go to the city with her for hot chocolate, I decided to take Fluttershy with me and document the journey ^_^.

I got to my friend's place a little early so we watched MLP until it was time to go for the train. Fluttershy, of course, got a front row seat and was soon joined by my friend's ponies.

The weather was really cold and wet (it's winter here in Australia) so Fluttershy snuggled down in my pocket to hide from the elements.

Twilight Sparkle and Lilly Blossom weren't going to be left behind, though, and quickly jumped into my friend's pockets

I look a few shots of Fluttershy and her friends waiting at the station and then sitting on the train. The crowds of people and the noise made her very nervous, though, so after these shots she spent the rest of the trip hiding in my pocket.

My friend and I had a back corner table at the little cafe we went to and Twilight and Lilly Blossom managed to convince Fluttershy that it was safe to sit on the table with them.  Once coaxed out of my pocket, she joined the others studying the menu.

No pictures of the trip home. Fluttershy was all worn out and spent the entire ride asleep in my pocket

Ha, that awesome! I always take my blind bag Fluttershy with me when i go out. I was out to dinner with my costuming friends (like 30 of us, it was after a convention), and I had set her on the table in front of me. I got caught up talking, and my wife snatched her, then passed her around the table! For days I saw shots of my Fluttershy showing up on Facebook, dangling from beer glasses, on plates, balanced on someone's nose even! It was pretty cool =)

Cute, isn't it? It belongs to my friend's housemate (also my friend) and if I'm lucky I get to cuddle it when I visit
