Pony Wear : Knock-off or rare?
« on: June 03, 2012, 03:44:42 AM »
I just came across a stockpile of pony wear & I'm unable to ID some things. Can you ID and PC these, pleez?

First is a peach felt dress(i guess) with ivory fleece fur trim at neck, hem, and front legs. It has two matching shoes & what I think is a hat.

Next is a yellow satiny dress with white draped trim & an accordion like accessory with velcro the length of it.

This pink tulle thing has elastic at both ends.

Silver crown.

I've got quite a bit of ponywear to sell. Should I ask for price checks on complete & incomplete sets or is it better to break it down by each item?

They are not regular HB pony wear unfortunately - they could be fakie wear or they could be home made - the yellowy satin dress certainly looks that way.

On price for something like that its really what someone is willing to pay - the most common pony wear prices dont go for much more than the $0.50-1 mark so I am not sure what you would get for home made items unfortunately.

The yellow satiny skirt goes to Lady Lovely Locks Picnic Dress fashion.

The accordian like thing is the top/cape thing to Daffodil, a Rose Petal doll.

The silver crown looks like the part that goes around the clear plastic crown to Pony Royal wear.

No clue on the rest though:(

I think the first outfit might be home-made.  I have the shoes from it, WITHOUT the fuzz--which makes me think the fuzz was glued on.  They're made of a hard plastic and shorter than real pony shoes.  It'd be cool to know where they came from!

dragonlady, thanks so much  for the LLL id. I don't know why I didn't think of that...it having the signaature clip hole and all. That's the only RP thing I have then; how interesting.

The shoe is a hard, thin plastic with 2 holes where I imagine they were attached to their packaging. They don't even seem to fit ponies, which leads me to believe the outfit wasn't home made, but is off brand.
