Is one of these ponies a variant?

I have baby Tattles and baby Rattles here.  One has purple eyes and one has blue.  I haven't seen this before.  Maybe one has just faded?  It's kind of weird.

How cool! Purple is known to fade into blue so it´s possible one just faded but it still looks really cool

Stared for a minute or two... The one on the left looks sunfaded. Check around the pony and see if any other spots look darker, like the under belly, or the roots of the hair?

I think you all are right, the one with the blue eyes does appear to have a tiny bit of hair fading too.  In the G1 collectors book they both have blue, so they must both be faded.  Anyway, I think it's kind of cool

I've found some faded ponies look good with it, and it gives them personality Congrats on them!

Yes there eyes should be a dark purply blue like the one on the right...but the red pigment in the paint is notorious for leeching and fading out than the other colours therefore sometimes purples loose their red and become blue...which is what it looks like here! I kind of like the blue better though!

Varied but not a variant.     Now you can tell them apart!
