Glimmer wings (especially Rarity) with accurate hair? (now with pics)

I just got my first glimmer wings, and first G4s ever, Rarity and Ploomette. I was wondering if anyone has restyled any of the glimmer wings' hair to look more like the hair styles on the show? If so I'd love to see pictures. And if you did it, was it extra hard with those wings getting in the way?

I wouldnt have thought it was much tougher to style them than some of the Wingers [like Lady Flutter] who have that head raised pose...but I cant wait to see pictures!

Seems like I'll have to do my Rarity without having seen an after shot first. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do her hair at first but the more I think about it the more I want to do it.

I repainted my glimmer wing rarity to resemble how rarity looks in sonic rainboom episode. Still not done yet though.

Time for me to dig out this old thread I started. I've fixed my Rarity's hair now and it was suuuper hard. I don't think I've ever cursed so much at a non-living (or living for that matter ) object. The wings didn't get in the way that much but those G4s are so tiny and have quite thick hair. Annoying pony. I used the tutorial linked here earlier, that's the one I had come across myself. I've seen another one too but that was done on a FS Rarity, don't know if it would work on a regular pony.
