What Color is Mimic?

I'm working on a fun custom, and I am needing to do a FBR in Mimic's color. But what color is she really? I don't have this lovely gal in my collection to compare, and pictures of her vary so much. So what do you think? Is she more of a lime or a pale yellow? What level of saturation or neon effect does she have? Anyone want to mail me a Mimic so I can be sure?

Feel free to share your pictures or discuss! If you have her, do you have a standard of measurement (e.g. paint color or other item on the market) to compare her to?

A very light pastel yellowish-green (chartreuse).

Agree with Baby Sugarberry, that one looks close to my Mimic as well. I'd say pastely/pale limey yellow/green ish. it's a hard one to describe... xD

she is closer to a pastel Chartreuse I believe
It's very hard to pin down her color, I know a lot of customs made of her lean a little more towards green or yellow in color

Mimic makes me think of key lime pie -- she's the color of the inner part of the lime that's often on top. I guess Mimics probably range in color anyway; my Mimic has head/body discoloration and so has a lime-greener head than body. (I love her anyway)

Oddly enough, the sort of neon yellow/green hair some ponies have is close, just its a pastel version with a tad bit more green.

So if you can find a paint that matches, say SS Ribbons hair, you could mix green,  that and white,  (probably 1 part white paint to 2 or 3 parts color, and a half part of green) and it should be pretty close?

Hmm I've seen Mimic colored post it notes, and certain Disney Tiana dolls in the green dress have the same color on part of their dress or accessories. Couldn't point you to a specific one though, it's been awhile since I've seen it.

Oh, I know! If you have a Michaels store, look at the yarn; if they still have the Caron Cakes in Macaroon, the palest green/yellow shade is a good match for Mimic, haha

My Mimic is faded, she's a childhood pony, but you can  see the stripe beside the purple is pretty close!

Haha, looks like some varying opinions! I wonder if there are varients or if the green can fade out. We need scientists researching Mimic immediately!

I will definitely check out Michael's for that yarn. That's were I normally get my paint. They had one of their cheeper paints in "celery" and I am trying to explore if that mixed with a bit of yellow (neon yellow?) would be about right.

I just compared her to all the ponies I have out right now. If you have a G2 Puff Mimic's body color matches her lighter hair stripe.
