You can usually get Halloween tissue paper at Target but that's as close as I've found.Dollar tree had some Halloween related things today. I really just found candy bags. I think if worse comes to worse after my ponies are wrapped up they might get stuck in Halloweenie candy bags if no wrapping can be found. :lol:

I am wondering what I'm going to wrap mine in. I have a cool idea for all candy/snacks I am going to put in the box. But for misc stuff I am not sure what to do with. I could put them in goodie bags, though I love to wrap and wish they made Halloween wrapping paper. I could always use the colored tissue paper (and use a combo of orange and black) but I'd rather not. I've learned with past swaps that I am not very good at wrapping with that stuff. I am better with more durable paper.

Ooh, another idea for wrapping paper: scrap booking paper! Hobby Lobby sells it dirt cheap if you have one in your area. The big squares would be perfect for small gifts! Also Halloween fabric. It's a bit pricier but if your swap partner likes to craft they could reuse it.

You really need to move her tail to see the brunt of it, but when she's on the shelf and otherwise, she's just lovely.

I think the reason is that people don't typically gift at Halloween that much. What I saw in the stores was a very small amount. I don't think stores are expecting people to buy a lot of it. Oh and I have another idea. What about getting black, purple or orange wrapping paper and using Halloween stickers to decorate it? Okay..I will stop bugging you guys LOL.

Maddie, that is an awesome teaser!! As for wrapping paper, you can use regular paper and stamp it or draw on it (but make sure the inked surface isn't next to the pony just in case) I think I may do B&W wrapping paper with orange and black ribbons...

I'm afraid I'm not going to do enough for my partner and my box won't compare to all the awesome other ones! I really don't want to let my partner down, but I try to stay close to the cost limit too. (When I see people posting things like "I went way over my spending limit!" I get really nervous!) Does anyone else get like this, or am I just a nutter? ^_^;

I got a different package I was waiting for today, but the pony did not show up.
My mail carrier really sucks. Sometimes there are packages waiting for me at the post office and I don't even get a notice. Maybe they have the pony there.. I don't know why though, it surely would have been small enough to fit in my mail box. And said it was delivered!

When I think about this swap I feel anxious and sad. I don't feel like my partner is going to like their extras or ponies. :( I can't tell if they were picky or not....it wasn't ever clear. The ponies I got are in great shape IMO but to some they may not be. And I found that this person was extremely hard to buy for so I just put very random nicknacks in there. I'm worried about it. I just hope I'm wrong and they are okay with it.

Actually I hope my partner doesn't recoil in horror when they open the box.... I swear to god I am the WORST wrapping person on the face of the planet. You know cruel people who wrap their presents entirely in duct tape before giving them? Even those presents look good compared to mine! >.<;;
I couldn't find any Halloween wrapping paper so when I was at the dollar store, I found a pack of something called 'metallic tissue paper.' I thought to myself that sounds pretty neat! So I bought it, wondering how they got the metallic shine on the tissue paper. Well I just opened the package last night to wrap everything..... it's not tissue paper at all. It's GIANT sheets of super thin foil! 0___0
Still kind cool but... geez! Very awkward to wrap with! >.<

My box arrived today!!!! I haven't opened it yet. It's sitting next to me as I type this. I am 99% sure I know who my partner is based on the name on the return address (I'm looking at you, Stephbryant1!). I will be opening it shortly and hopefully getting a brag up tonight. :)

I was really late getting my box out, even though I tried so hard.. but I guess not enough. I don't feel like I should join any more swaps cause bad luck just always follows me around. I had bad things happen to me with the first swap I did too.
