Dirty G3 Noses?
« on: March 03, 2012, 08:44:40 PM »
Has anyone noticed this before? I only have one pony like this, but, I've seen quite a few. Usually the ponies that have this are pink or purple. There's a coloring that happens that makes it look like the nose was dipped in food or dirt?? My Fluttershy has this, and (if it's okay to post this image, it's not mine) this Scooter Sprite I found online has it:

Is this dirt of some sort? Or plastic aging/discoloration? I tried the magic eraser (don't really know how those work, though. I could have messed up) and a little bit of acetone on a cotton swab, but, while the color is more even, it still isn't gone.

It also seems to always be on the nose.

Am I going crazy or has anyone else noticed this??

A lot of my white G3's have turned that color after using acetone to clean them. :/

I've gotten some G3s from the thrift store that had dirty noses too.  I don't know what happened to them!
