Today I Got a Baby Grand Piano!

Isn't it the cutest little thing? 
Today was the neighbourhood yardsales, so of course I was out looking for ponies. Never did find any, but I did score this little darling for only 15 CAD! I've always wanted a grand (Not to mention I'm a keyboard nutter), and this one will actually fit in my house! .

It needs a lot of work (Already I've dissasembled he whole thing to clean out tons of cat hair and goodness knows what other ickies, and replaced the cord and all the bolts), but I'm madly in love with it. As soon as I can get to it, it's getting sanded down and painted the brightest, glossiest pink I can find, as the finish has been mauled by tiny little house-tigers.

Anyway, I just had to share my excitement!

To be perfectly honest, I can't play either . At least, not by any traditional standard. I play by ear or by memorizing note patterns from watching others.
