Magenta/red haired Italians?
« on: January 31, 2012, 12:21:52 PM »
I thought I had a good grasp on a lot of the italian CP ponies out there.

Is this legit, or did someone get trigger-happy with the rahriing tool, you think?
I've never seen a magenta haired LD before. And I thought Magenta haired CC was considered a prototype (and that's the light version, never seen the dark one either)

Or am I awfully behind?

I'm not sure we've ever considered any a prototype?

Given that there are three in the same lot, I think rehairing is a possibility. I've definitely never seen a Lemondrop like that.

I thought there was a magenta lemon drop? Maybe I'm thinking of Minty...they're a pretty lot of ponies!

There's a magenta Minty, and I could always be wrong on the Lemondrop! I know there is a white one with Lilac hair though.

I think the colour is too rich to be lighting.

I'm awfully suspicious of that Lemondrop. Her head and body color don't match, and her head is much brighter. I think someone may have popped her head off and gave it a thorough cleaning before rehairing. Actually, I think someone stuck an Italian head on regular LD!

Isn't it super common for fading to occur, especially in nirvanas? I've seen some strangely mismatched Lemondrops before.
Not sure what to think of all of them having that hair colour, though..

I have seen major mismatches in Lemondrop's head/body colour, but it's generally in HK ones.

Oh no, I watched them, too.
I'd loved the mystery Lemon Drop for my LD Army...

Hope we can find out more later.

*breaks out the nirvana gallery*

yes we have magenta haired cotton candy and magenta lemondrop (as well as the minty's and bowties!)

http://mlparena.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=228058

i think the only way to be sure is to pop their heads off when they arrive ;)

i agree with ladyg that they are not really prototypes since more than one has been found of each :)
