Are you lost, Applejack?
« on: September 17, 2016, 03:17:54 PM »
I just had to take a picture when I found this loose Applejack sitting on a shelf at Target today.  I thought about taking her home with me but then decided to leave her there in case the little girl who lost her came back for her.

Just as possible some kid took her out of the package, parent saw it, freaked out and put it there before making a hurried escape. It happens...

I hope some little girl (or boy) didn't lose her pony.

But Applejacks do roam. Mine did a tour of Helsinki with me and she got into a lot of random places...;)

I was at a K-mart that was going out of business, and in the toy department, there were around 20 loose ponies because the boxes they came in were so cheap. I asked if they would discount the loose ones (I make G4 customs) and they refused, well, I thought they would accept my half off offer because they were closing the store and trying to get rid of their items. So if you find a loose one at a different store they might discount it, especially if it's Target, they would priabaly give you a discount.

Awww. I'd be tempted to take her.  :lookround:
They: You're too old to watch that show!
Me: Can't hear ya, I'm asleep.

That reminds me of a gen 3 pinkie pie I found in a snowpile after they plowed, her hair is white now, and she has a few scrapes but is otherwise fine. I took her home and what a dingy pony, though I do feel sorry for the one who lost her.

The first time I went to buy g4 ponies I ended up with two Pinkie Pies because one came with another pony, but the other was the snowglobe one and I was taking her friends (Rarity and Diamond Mint) and she just kept staring at me like "Don't leave me!". It was last February, shortly before all the Targets in Canada closed.

I think a snowpile counts as found in the wild....about as wild as it gets!

My first G3 was something I found in some trash dumped next to the road maybe a year before I cared about ponies and she was jumbled among various salvage items I'd found and after I got hooked on G4 I sent a pic to a friends and found out I had a G3 Pinky Pie.

Seems to me she occasionally gets stuck working in cherry orchards.
