POTD 2/16/2022 Yr 2 Exclusive Sea Ponies

I have Surfdancer and want Wavebreaker and that will do me for seaponies. I think Surfdancer looks very regal, a classy gal, mine does anyway.

For an "UK exclusive" (ugh) she's not particularly expensive (before postage).

Have all 3, & shells.

Seawinkle & Surfdancer have the same colour shell, as do Seaspray & Wavedancer. Wavebreaker's yellow shell is unique to her, as is Sealight's green one (which I don't have)

The UK only had those 3 adult seaponies, sadly. We also only had the first two sets of baby sea ponies and then 4/6 watercolors. The US had plenty in comparison. Although Sea Mist and White Cap were in the fact file and turned up at a random weird point in the comic in the nineties I think. Not sure why.

I am also not sure why the 'Colour Change' baby sea ponies (watercolors) didn't make the comic when all the others did.

I would have loved Sand Dollar as a kid. I never had an adult sea pony as a kid, or wanted one - I thought them a bit dull compared to the babies, I think I must have seen them at school as I was only 3 when they were in stores. But Sand Dollar might have changed my mind, had she been available to me That Shady vibe...

Wavebreaker is one of my childhood seaponies! I still have her. When I was a kid I'd use her as a seapony version of Firefly.

I need all three of these. But lately sea ponies and their shells have been a bit pricey for my budget.
