Do Big Brother hats fit girls? What clothes fit what ponies?

Do Big Brother hats fit girl ponies? I want a cowboy hat for G1 Applejack.

For that matter, what clothes generally fit what ponies? I know some G3 attire fits some G1 ponies, especially SHS, but not shoes, and sometimes vice versa.

EDIT: Does "Best of the West" cowboy hat fit Applejack or her pose sisters?

I haven't tried switching generational ponywear about, but I would suspect Tex's hat would not fit a girl pony because of the ear span. I think Brother ponies generally have slightly larger heads? I admit that I haven't got the hat out and tested it though, so it may be that there are some poses it does fit.

Within generation 1: Some poses are trickier to dress than others. Baby Cotton Candy is a tight fit in the baby snowsuit because of her head being held so high. Pegasi in the firefly pose and the Bubbles pose are limited in what they can fit in as well.

Unfortunately I don’t have tex’s hat, but I have salty’s and it can fit on mainsail (posey pose) without problems. I gave it to her because his hair is so frizzy and springy that it pushes the hat off! I’ll put it on AJ and see how it goes 

I managed to fit the g3 beach berry pose into the g2 bunny dress up suit, but it’s a stretch. The g1 baby wear fits g3 babies quite well, but unless the baby is looking forward then it covers their eyes quite a bit. I have tried the snowsuit, jumper, overalls, bunny suit and dragon suit. The g1 adult wear is quite large on g3s (I have tried birthday girl and sweet dreams. The tie on pieces (raincoat and white bedtime? Dress) fit a little better, but are still too big. The sweet dreams slippers seem to stay on g3s quite well, especially if their legs are close together. If you don’t move them, they should look okay. The roller skates need to be held on with an elastic band on g3s. Hats can fit but they are too big on g3s 

As for fitting g1s, I’d say that skirts with the fabric elastic will work fine (not the clear stuff, as it’ll break). I will test stuff tomorrow for you and report back

I guess now I'll just need to acquire Tex's hat. I presume the new HQG1C cowboy hat uses the same mold? They seem about the same price, and the hqg1c is actually brown, so I might just get that one unless I fid a baity Tex hat to repaint or strip.

Good point, a new HQG1C hat is probably about as cheap as even a baity Tex hat.  I'm happy they're making the brown version.

My Mirror Mirror has pinched Tex's hat - it's the same colour as her .
It's a bit big so tilts towards one eye in a rather rakish fashion but she looks great in it.

I can tell you that Slugger's hat fits Princess Pristina just fine, and looks quite nice on her.

Tex' Hat fits on Shy Pose and Sitting Pose. I haven't tried it on any others. hqg1c is also making translucent glitter hats
