Using acetone on Soft Sleepy Newborns pony?
« on: November 30, 2016, 11:08:12 PM »
Hello, I recently purchased a Soft Sleepy Newborn pony from ebay,
and the poor little girl has some major paint scuffs all over her.
I rubbed a magic eraser over the spots without much luck.
Would it be safe for me to use a quick light swipe of nail polish remover over the spots?
I just wanted to check that she wouldn't melt.

Thanks!

Yes, just avoid symbols, eyes, and blush.  And use pure acetone for best results.

Be gentle! I'm a scrubber, one time I pushed too hard and took good layer of plastic off of a pony...

yeah I would say that the best thing to use is a Q-tip, they don't cover too much area like a cotton ball, and you have more control.

Also remember to wash the pony afterwards so that the acetone doesn't sit on your pony and eat it.

One does not simply stop collecting ponies.
