I had to go find the original listing! Very cool Roogna! Don't be disappointed. even if it was a phony for it's day it will still have it's collector value. I HAVE seen others with those eyes.... this was years ago, on ebay when I was trying to find as much cool merch as possible. I had never bid on any, doubtful I saved images as I assumed they were handmade or fakies (but we all know how desirable even those are now.)

I thought it was odd that I'd never read anything about one of those PJ plushies being made of Cherries Jubilee.
Legitimate or not, congrats on getting her! I've been watching their other items for a while and they have a lot of cool stuff for sale.

I have seen the Cotton Candy PJ case in the past and wondered what was going on. I heard rumours of a Starshine PJ case a long time ago, but dismissed it as a mis-identified Trickles. I'm sure I've seen a similar Bowtie as well, with yarn hair and open eyes.

I have seen other plush ponies with those same eyes, but thought that they were home made and so never took much notice.

I'd like to see pictures of her symbol please Roonga

Oh I know where she is from. Sorry this took some digging in files and remembering.

Sharatts was a toy shop in Derby city centre - a very famous toy shop in its time (mainly as a model shop but it sold everything a child was on the look out for).

I dont think she is legitimate. The store were known for having their own special models and other toys made so it seems likely they also duplicated (fakes) other popular lines at the time. Or at least aspects of the line they would have found easy and inexpensive to make. Its easy to repattern the pj case to suit the ponies they were legitimately selling.

She is cool and a great bit of history! Congrats.

Yes. She would need to the CE tag to be sold in Europe, but if there is no Licencee info, then she is a knockoff

Ah, gotta love the treasure trove of rare, unusual G1 memorabilia that is (or rather, was, I guess) the Delaney's stuff.

Honestly though, I remember seeing that Cherries Jubilee as a new listing and debating whether or not to bid on it. Either way, glad it went with Roogna to join her Bow Tie, Cotton Candy and Trickles!
