g3s at Target?

I've got to admit, I'm curious. Target's website claims I can buy her and pick her up in a store near me, but somehow that doesn't seem right. A part of me is really tempted to order her just to see what happens.

What do you think, worth the $5?

Hmm, it shows it available in most of my local stores too, not all though. I'd try it. I might myself.

Okay, I attempted an order. I made it all the way through the credit card info, and then got dumped to a screen that said my cart was empty. Not sure if that means the order went through, or it doesn't actually exist.

I guess I'll see if I get the pickup email!

I have found Targets website to not always be up to date. They still show a FS Applejack on there that says available at my local Target, when in fact it is not.

The "eligible for in store pickup" on Target's website isn't particularly reliable, sadly.  I had a similar problem with the gold iPhones.

I would say that its not, but that would be cool if there was still G3 ponies! I miss them days!

Never did get an email, so the endeavor seems to have been a bust.

Still, what if there's a hidden crate of Toola Roolas stashed in the recess of a bunch of Target store rooms? I'm picturing it Indiana Jones style, where these things will never see the light of day again. Perhaps a reconassiance mission is in order

Aww dang! I've wondered about those G3 products too. Pity that they're dangled in front of us, yet we can't grab them!

... You were just doing it for store pickup, though, right? I wonder if it would let you buy her online the regular way, being shipped and all.

I just ordered online for in-store pickup and got a confirmation email. The true test will come when/if I get a 'your order is ready for pickup' email.

That pony has been on Target's website for a few years now. It is very likely that the page has simply not been updated to reflect the current availability.

Yea this. Target re-uses toy stock numbers all the time, which causes things to ring up weird or stock to show up when its not there. Sometimes entire assortments have the same item number in target's system, which makes locating 1 toy from a line almost impossible on the site.
