Dose anyone know anything about G1 prototypes?
How much do they go for?
How rare are they?
Dose anyone own one?

Hmm, I have seen them up for sale a few times before. 'Nirvana' prototypes seem to be more common than normal ones though actually. I can't remember exact numbers on how much they cost but I don't remember it being exceptionally extravagant!

There are some awesome G1 prototypes on this website which were shown by Hasbro at one of the US Fairs. http://mountaincai.blogspot.co.uk/2008/07/g1-prototypes.html

In my experience, people use 'prototype' to refer to ponies that aren't actually prototypes but unfinished ponies, and this is especially prevalent with Nirvanas. True prototypes for G1 are out there, but there aren't huge numbers of them, as most were disposed of a long time ago. Most are painted.
