Collector Pose Applejack - country ID help needed

So, a few weeks ago, I won this girl in an ebay auction:

She was advertised as "My Little Pony Vintage G1 UK Applejack In Collector Pose - HTF"

When I looked her up on the My Little Wiki (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/G1_Applejack, it says Euro CP Applejack only has 5 apples, where as the one I have has 7.  I'm assuming she's the Italian Varient 1.  Anyone know how to confirm? Her hoof stamps just say 1982 Pat Pending Hasbro Hong Kong.

Just a note - her eyes look blue in the pic but they are actually green.

Somebody counted wrong, she definately has 7! (I've amended the wiki page).
She was released in Europe, including the UK.

So, how would you tell it's the Euro and not the Italian Variant 1. They both have the same description of:

Pony Stats
    Pose: Collectors Pose
    Body Colour: Orange
    Hair Colour: Yellow
    Eye Colour: Green
    Symbol: 7 red apples

And they look the same to me...what am I missing?

Yours has the US/ UK style eyes. Italians have vivid and elegant flick eyes, you can view this on an Italian, it is what sets them apart x

Also, Italians are made in Italy.

EDIT: I've amended the wiki page, Italian AJ has blue eyes not green.

the italian version has italy stamped under her hooves.

Oh gosh that was confusing with the apple numbers but easy to do As mentioned the easiest way to tell if a pony is not a regular release is to tip her upside down and check out what country she has been stamped with.

It was the hoof stamp that confused me to begin with - says Hong Kong, so then I was wondering which countries are made in HK and which are made in their own country...is there a list some where that tells where each country's ponies are made?

  I have the Italian CP AJ  she has Blue eyes and 7 apples
Italy stamped on her hoof and Hasbro 82 on the other hoof

Italians are easy to distinguish as they pretty much all have blue eyes and no forelocks..and the Italy country stamp!

It might actually be easier to say which ponies didnt get Hong Kong releases rather than which ones did. Mainly because even those countries which ended up with their own line and their own manufacturing sometimes initially had regular HK ponies.

But in general you would be USA, Canada, most of Europe [although Italy, France, Greece and Spain had their own manufacturing lines], Australia, NZ, South Africa [although again they had their own releases] are all countries which got HK/China releases.
