With Moonstone as my set completer, I have my first complete set! The first set of Rainbow Ponies! :D

Sunlight was my sister's childhood pony (covered in marks, but perfect symbols), I got Parasol at an anime convention of all places (and an upgrade this past Christmas), Windy came in a cheap local lot and my first ever pony ebay lot (her symbols look fine except very little glitter???), Starshine was also a recent Christmas present, Skydancer was a prize from a photo contest on the TP, and Moonstone came in a lot that was mostly gen 3-4.
Thy look great together but I don't have the heart to take down my favorites from my pony shelf in favor of the rainbows (except Starshine and Moonstone. They can get a spot if they like.)
I just need Twilight to complete the first unicorn and pegasus set. I'm not really a set completer, so this was a happy accident.
What are some other sets that might be worth completing and aren't too expensive? The Big Brothers are the only set I want to complete and are barely within my per-pony budget.
Also, question, did rainbow ponies have color beneath their glitter? Windy has perfectly accuracy symbols except for her almost complete lack of glitter.

Probably. I lowkey want Twilight anyway. I love the first unicorn and pegasus poses.

Congratulations! That may feel good, completing a sat like that. Every pony there has a different story of how they came to you. I’m sure you’ll treasure the whole setfor a very long time.

It really is! It's like seeing a family photo where everyone has the same hair color.

Congrats on completing your first set! Interesting that you found Moonstone last because she has been the most common of that set for me, lol. I had so much trouble finding a Sunlight with nice hair AND nice symbols!
I'm not sure about the pattern underneath their glitter. Their may be marking where the glue has leached into the plastic, rather than actual ink? I'm sure somebody here who customizes/restores must know :)

Hmm leaching may be it. Maybe the color from the glitter into the glue into the vinyl/plastic?
Funny that Moonstone is so common for you. My Sunlight has great hair and symbols, she just has a bunch of marks. I may try sunfading but she's been that way since my sister and I were kids.

Thanks guys! Hopefully I'll complete the first set of unicorn and pegasus ponies in the near future.
Do brags get pinned randomly, or did a mod also get curious about Windy's lack of glitter?
