Title: Which playsets should I protect?
Post by: Aurora on February 19, 2018, 03:37:54 PM
I am about to inherit a reasonably big glass cabinet, with doors and shelves! Yay! I was thinking about what to put in it, since it looks like the shelves are pretty widely spaced, and I should be able to fit a playset or two into it.

I have most of the playsets- no lavender castle or Home Sweet Home, but I think I have the rest. Which one would you put behind glass, hypothetically safe?

I am only thinking of G1 here, though I am open to other suggestions. I don't even have the shelf yet, we have to see what fits, but help me dream for now!

(There are 4 shelves, so possibly room for more playsets.)

I would go with paradise estates if you have it, as it is really big and hard to store.

Ok, Paradise Estate isn't going to fit. Sorry. Awesome suggestion, but unless each room gets its own shelf, it won't work.

This will be somewhere I can display a playset, with accessories and ponies, I will be able to see it, but I will have to open a door to touch it.
From the pictures, I can fit Dream Castle or Satin Slipper pretty easily.
PE has it's own table in the middle of the room, so don't worry, it is being spoiled!

Any order, but I was thinking that putting Lullabye Nursery and Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe together would look neat. :)

If you have Megan's Place I'd put that in there.  And the DC, can't ignore the classic!

:D
Discussions like this makes me wonder how ponyland geography actually works.

One day, when I have my pony room....

Ahem. I actually second Mami Tomoe's suggestion, because the Waterfall is delicate and the case would protect it.

The waterfall is an awesome idea, and i know firsthand about it breaking- mine requires that I tie up the cloud, as the post holding it broke before i got it.

I tested the shelves last night, and the Nursery fits! I started with that one because mine is old and needs a little extra protection. It is precious to me, and all the accessories might stay where i put them if they are in a case!
