Have her! I love twinkle eyes. I didn't like this pose as a kid but I like it now and she's such a pretty pony.

I don't really like her pose, or her colour scheme. I would not leave her behind if I found her in a thrift store for cheap, but that's more because I wouldn't leave any G1 behind under these circumstances. I don't know if I'd keep her in such a situation... maybe I'd rather swap her with someone here who is looking for her. Here she would only be another member in the herd and wouldn't be loved that much... IMO. But that said, I've never seen her in real life, that changes my opinions often :)

I do have her however, I dont think it is possible to find her without the plastic breakdown problem. :/ I haven't checked mine in a long time and im almost afraid to look. I dont mind her color scheme shes not just another pink pony. :)

She was a childhood pony, and one that I always am looking to upgrade. I remember how stunning she was when I had her pristine as a child. It's so find her in that sort of shape now. As her streak is usually faded white and regrind is such a recurring issue with her. But I think she's a very under rated pony.
Mine does not photograph nicely otherwise I would take a snap shot. But I'm a bit sentimental towards her. I have very vivid memories of taking her out in the snow to play with me as a child on many occasions. She also was my first TE pony. My sister had SkyRocket but I wasn't allowed to play with her until I was much older. Her gemstone eyes filled me with so much wonder as a child and she was the most magical pony in my early childhood herd.
This was before my overly strict family allowed me a few unicorns. Don't ask, as a kid I was only allowed Earth ponies.

Party time was the first pony I got that got me back into collecting. I got her as a birthday gift a few years ago. I actually don't really like her that much, but now I have 5 of her XD
I used my first ones eyes in a custom, turning locket into coconut grove. So now she's eyeless! I didn't mean to get a small army of her, just happened that way! She keeps coming back into my life..

I have many of her including one that was laser-engraved to become Applejack and I am going to order some nice green Zirconias to complete AJ and send her off to a friend who collects applejacks (we'll see if she ever reads my posts in which case the surprise will be spoiled tee hee), and several of the others are getting eye upgrades and being sent off as gifts too.
I think they made her twice, in both sets of TEs as it seems she has both styles of eye sockets. I'll know for sure when I dunk them all in boiling water and take out their eyes, eeks.
Her symbols come in two sizes too. Yep, she always has plastic problems but they aren't as unsightly as a lot of other ponies' plastic problems. I love her because she is heavy and feels so nice to hold and she's cheap.

a lot of parents think things like magical creatures (like unicorns/pegaseses) are abnormal or immoral or acts against god, etc! its not at all uncommon for a lot of parents to restrict kids to only "natural" animals. not that..a bright orange jewel eyed horse is normal, but i digress! all parents have their own ways of doing things.
i had friends growing up who were not allowed to watch harry potter because of how blasphemous it was.
i did not know that party time came in several versions!! my first one had the eyes with no ..thingies on the end they were just the jewels. i havent taken out my others eyes so i don't know!! how noticible is their cutie mark difference/which came with which? id be interested to know which ones i have!! i know that atleast ONE of mine is the "party set" party time, because i have the rest of the set as well ^^
i also just realized i didnt use her eyes for coconut, i used them for surprise! :shakefist: i made a reverse color surprise out of masquerade, and used the pink eyes for her and masquerades green eyes for coconut. ai yai yai my brain!

That's pretty much it and I'm not offended or anything by asking, I just didn't want to get off topic.
My parents were religious to such an extreme that I was barely allowed to have mlp growing up. Deeper research provided to my parents from other extreme parents had given them information about unicorns originating in the womb with christ and all sorts of things that made my folks ban them from the house. I had snuck in a few but when they found them they either ended up in the trash or their horns got snipped off.
My parent are not so extreme now and have learned to live a better balance but they did they best they knew how to for my siblings and myself.
Besides, as an adult I can finally own all the mlps I had to see get thrown away as a kid <3 I'm living the dream practically XD

I have her! Got her as a birthday-ish present (how fitting too!) Girl has some issues (is hard as a ROCK and was rather gummy on the inside because of that, and some regrind), but she's so dang pretty, I love her hair and her obnoxious orange body. And I love this pose!!

I really like her colour scheme but she's quite similar to Flutterbye. I like this pose too! I'd be happy to have her but the regrind thing does make me a little reluctant, same with some other ponies.

I have two! My childhood one and a mint girl to accompany her. I have fond memories of playing with her. She has a soft spot in my heart, cancer spots and all :p

A valid poll option would have been "i have her with no visible plastic problems" cuz id like to know just how rare that is...she does tend to have blemishes but i dont mind them at all.

I'm actually curious about this myself, hah! I'm lucky for the problems mine has, you actually really can't tell them unless you shine a bright flashlight on her.. or try and squeeze her, haha.

She's never been on my radar before now but seeing this pic - loving her colors. I don't know why I never NOTICED her before. Very unique and pretty tangerine orange. I'm not even sure if I've seen her in real life.

I think there was a thread someone posted once where they thought they'd found a Party Time without regrind.. There was a good discussion. Unfortunately the search function on MLP has never worked for me so I'm not good at finding old threads.

I have her and love her. The TE set is one of my very favourites. She was the first TE that I bought when I started collecting G1 ponies again.

I have them from the birthday set I got as a kid, I am slowly getting the accessories back. However they looked like a boy pony to me. I had most of them. I am missing the post card, ribbons, and one single invitation.

Most of the TEs are quite a bit bigger n thicker than most ponies.
Must be from the years working in the mines before Applejack freed them.

I love her Orangeness just the same, even though she's not in my fave pose.

She's back on my want list as of a few days ago when I realised I didn't have her!! I know I've bought her a couple of times, I had a really nice one that I sold off when I went on a big collection downsize (oh, regrets regrets....) and I know I've had her since then but I think I made the dumb mistake of thinking she was a double and selling her off again :facepalm: So yeah... on the casual hunt, lol!

The eyeless one was the first pony i got as an adult that got me into collecting. i got her for my birthday, ironically. :9 i tore her apart and took out her eyes to use in another custom, but now im not sure what to do with her.
the closest one seems to be in a different pose, and she's hard as a rock. the others are softer and their heads are lifted higher. as far as i can tell, all of them have at least a lil regrind.

She was one of my childhood ponies and I adored her. In my childhood heard she was the party planer/hosted the best birthday parties. Given that I love all things sparkly, she was my first TE. Wouldn't pass her up if I found her today.

im formulating my own repro-eyes. i have molds and resin and everything : )
she will be my first victim guinepig when i finally end up making a solid pair.

Well if you dont want eyes second in hardness only to diamonds...how about finding some small cat-eye marbles? Are there glass doll eyes that can fit?
TEs are the best cuz you can come up with your own eye and they already have sockets waiting.

The first ponies I ever got were a group of 5 from a family friend, and she was one of them so she will always be awesome for that reason. Aside from that I'm not uuber fond of her colour combo but I like her for being different :) Also she is a TE and that automatically makes her cool.

mine does have regrind but it's subtle and doesn't show up in photos much, so I'm happy with her. she was one of my first MLPs acquired when I started collecting in college; a friend sent her to me from her childhood collection!

She was never sold in the UK so the only ones we have ever had came from international trade or ebay lots. I am not sure if I have one of my own or not, to be honest. I know my sister has one, because she really wanted her years back when we were trading, and so I traded for one for her - but I can't remember myself if I do or not. I love Twinkle Eyes, but I'm not such a fan of Party Time. I don't think it has anything to do with colours or regrind, to be honest. I think that my first impression of her as a teenager when I saw her image and set online was that she was trying to usurp Tutti Frutti's position as a birthday set pony, and so I never quite connected. Although I don't like the US birthday set ponies as much as I like the slumber party ones, so maybe I just had big issues about that set in general...
I also think people are too obsessed with this particular flaw of hers.

I think she's adorable! I love how unapologetically bright she is even though there's barely a spot of pink in her color scheme. (Not that I have a problem with pink...but some variety is nice, of course.)
I'm not sure how this would change if I saw her in person, but at least in pictures her regrind issues don't bother me too much. Hey girl, I've got uneven skin tone issues too. =P
