Shipping blind bags?
« on: April 16, 2012, 04:13:32 PM »
I have some loose blind bags right now that I'm offering for trade, but was just wondering the recommended way to ship them. Would a small bubble mailer be enough to keep the pony safe as long as I used regular Scotch tape to secure the card on the inside, or should I get a small-ish box and bubble wrap the poni?

Do you mean put tape on the small card? I wouldn't put anything adhesive on the card.

If you are worried about bends to the card inside a bubble mailer, you can always cut two pieces of cardboard together, and place the card inside.

I agree with this. And yes, the small bubble mailer works great. :)

I have mailed blind bags inside small bubble mailers with no problems. They were still in their original bag but had no other protection. I think they should be fine.

Another question:
Could I ship these first-class if I only put 1 pony inside? What about 3?

Absolutely :3
They are very light weight. (13 oz is the max weight for first class).
If you are mailing more than one, consider wrapping them up in something like white tissue paper, or a paper towel. That way the paint won't rub.

You should be fine to ship more than one first class :)  also it is ok to use a bubble mailer.  I would also agree with putting the card between 2 pieces of cardboard to avoid potential bending/damage in the mail  :awake:
