Staying put. We just bought our first house this summer (and it was two states away, so it was a major move), so we want to spend the holidays here.
We did have my in-laws here for Thanksgiving, and my dad and my brother are planning on coming for Christmas.

A bit OT, but I enjoy seeing all the Don Bluth love. He's my mom's first cousin.

The only time my kids were scared was watching The Princess and the Frog. And good grief, that voodoo dude scared me too! But they love The Last Unicorn and have watched most Disney/Pixar/Bluth movies just fine.
But I agree - you need to be aware of the particular sensitivities of your own kids, and try to screen accordingly.
I think though I'll wait to see The Good Dinosaur on video. I really don't like his design. I realize Pixar was going for simple, but to be honest he looks super boring for a main character and his anatomy looks weird when he's running.

I decorate the day after Thanksgiving. It usually takes me that whole weekend to deck out the house and the trees.

I started getting the ipsy box this past summer. I've really enjoyed it, and have discovered some great products!

I want to see it, but after the "super fans" have seen it, lol. I totally get being hyped by something you love, but when I'm in a theater I actually want to watch and hear the movie, not screaming fan boys and fan girls.

I remember seeing it in the theater when I was a kid! In fact, my oldest is the same age now when I saw it in the theater.
We watched it as a family last night. So awesome.
Growing up one of our neighbors a few doors down had a DeLorean. They had it for quite a while too - was still around when I went to college in the late 90s.

It was so hard limiting it to just 5 - I love everything about Halloween! We now have an old barn on our new property, and I am soooo tempted to turn it into a haunted house. But right now we need it for storage. Boo.

She is beautiful! And I love the name. I took horseback riding lessons what I was a kid, and my favorite horse to ride at the stables was named Nevada. I'm so glad this is working out for you. You deserve some happiness after a difficult few years!

My most favorite Hallmark ornaments are my collection of unicorn ones over the years since I was a child, and my mom's complete collection of the Nostalgic Homes and Shops series (which is still going strong! This year I believe is #32 in the series). Since my mom passed away last year, I am continuing to purchase the series as a fond memory of her and her passion for the holidays.

We usually just go out on a nice date. But for our 15th in 3 years, we are planning a big trip - we've both been to Europe, but not together, so it's high up on the list of potential places.

Nikki is pretty common, and even with pink hair, wouldn't go for more than $25.
The Sassy Sixteens are pretty easy to find too. I wouldn't pay more than $10 - $15 for Fallon and Corrine, depending on condition of the hair.
The Feelin' Fancies usually command higher prices if they have their accessories. The exception would be Chantilly, because out of that set she is HTF.
