Tell me about your favourite Nirvana!

Hey guys,

I really don't know much about Nirvanas as I don't collect them (pricey pricey!) but I'd love to know more! The only ones I'm very familiar with are the Greeks for obvious reasons

So I'd like to know who's your favourite (or favourites) Nirvana pony and a little bit about it, like what makes it different from the US version, why it's special, if it's rare and...how much it costs  Yeah, I'd be curious to learn about prices as well!

No pics on hand, but my only Nirvana pony is Giada Marina-Italian Wavedancer. Italian pink plastic is very prone to fading, from what I gather, so mine is a lovely peach color rather than typical bright pink. She's so pretty and I love her.

I bought her as a birthday present for myself this year and she only set me back by $15. Italians really aren't too expensive, if you're looking into collecting Nirvana.

Moondancer have very beautiful Nirvana variants.
My fav is the Argie Moondancer, with pastel pink hair, purple moon and pink stars!

My favorite Nirvana country is Brazil. I'm so obsessed with the Brazilian ponies. It's so hard to find them with decent hair since it's different than "normal" pony hair and is really prone to frizz and dryness. The Brazilians have different plastic too which gives them a more shiny appearance.

I can't pick just one pony but I can pick just one country - Brazil! 

I'm only 8 ponies away from a full Brazil collection (9 if you count one Os Fofinhos).  I have the Pretty Parlor too.  I just LOVE their shiny bodies and silky cottony hair.

Oh gosh! Pick just one? I am with Skeen on fav country to be honest - Brazils are my fav but I am also a sucker for the Argie babies. However I think I will go with Greek Baby Bow Tie...she is just enchanting And certainly my fav (for the moment )

as skeen and hathorcat , just one is really difficult  I can say 5  lol I would say first my NC Tickle i love her so much then my greeks (firefly, medley, parasol, twilight etc etc)! Ok so only one country: Greece! their ponies are really awesome

I agree.. Its way to hard to choose one. ONe of my favorites is my mexican Prince. I got him in a trade from angelponies which makes him even more special because shes a good pony friend of mine.
Hes OOAK for having a blue body and silver symbol instead of a purple body and gold symbol.. Most likely hes a prototype because if he was a factory error he would have a gold symbol...
My favorite country is colombia though. followed by Greece.

My most beloved Ponies are my South african Ponies! I have 3 so far, but I have something new coming in soon:) The plastic of their bodies is different in comparison to other Ponies. South african Ponies are made of a very very hard plastic. Their hair is different as well, it is so soft and shiny and probably also a bit more brittle than other ponyhair. I love the combination of the hard bodies with that very soft hair I would never part with them, please don't ask  Here are my 3 south africans. Rehaired Argie baby Posey is tied with him..maybe a bit ahead.
She came to me nearly bald and now has a fabulously minty new hairdo. I always keep her curls neat. 
Baby Poseys run from $15 to a recent $120+ depending on condition.

She has a sister with mint factory hair now, but no pics as of right now. The seller took down her pic so I can't use that either. Her sister with minty hair was $60.
Her sister with a slight haircut was ...$20, maybe?

Spanish piggies!    I love their cute little hooves! They even had specially-made smaller shoes for them that I hope I can get someday.
