I won the baby Medley sold by kitkat I can't wait to receive her. She will have a special place in my collection, in the glass display case. I'm still trying to decide if she'll be my childhood Medley's baby (one of the only 8 ponies I had held onto) OR if I'll let my new rainbow-haired mexican Medley be her mommy. Or maybe they could BOTH be her mommies, lol
 
Rel, the last three Baby Medleys sold in the range of 115-125. And if I remember correctly, the one that sold before that went for even more but I could be mistaken... As for baby Blossom (my second favorite), she also sold for over 100.

I love Peru ponies! They are squishy kind of like Greeks, and smell like crayons.

I had 3 Peru Moonstones at one point, but sold one last year at the fair

So now I have 2..I have thought about parting with one, but I am still unsure if I really want to do that or not.

For me superb condition always utclass rarity. If a peru glory or unicorn bowtie with uncut hair and perfect original curls (and bright pink hair) shows up, they would be much more rare and wanted by me then any Ladybird or similar iconic pony who is rare, but often in good condition when she surface. I do think that prices often reflects condition.

totally glad I did not get into a bid war with you SFlame on that ribbon! I topped out I think at only the $150ish mark or so... yeah, those MLPs all ended high but they looked to be in really good shape

congrats to all the winners :-) and maybe if there are any sellers here of some more, I would love to get another shot at a ribbon mom and baby, and a momma blossom, and medley :-)

no one has mentioned the green hair and its crinkly texture!

it is most odd as it goes crinkly really quickly! you can get a lovely almost mint peru rainbow pony and the hair is as follows

pink ~ smooth
yellow ~ smooth
green ~ CRINKLY!!!!!
blue ~ smooth

it is also hard to fix with flat irons as it melts easily making it even more crinkly!

All of my Peru ponies, despite how nice they are, have the green crinkly stripe. I wish it wasn't so!

i guess it is a feature of them i kind of tuck it under the other colours so you don't see it

I don't know much about them but I do have a Peruvian Posey. She is smaller than HK Posey and the plastic is a little harder. In the last picture you can see the bleeding paint and neck seam out of line.

Lovely posey! The hair is to die for!

I just got my second ever peru pony in the mail (first was Windy and she is my ), and wow! I just say wow! Peruans really got the nicest curls of all countries! When they are preserved, they are sooo gorgeous! my winged Blossom is just as lovely as I hoped, finaly I own her in super condition!

They do smell like wax crayons. Stinky wax crayons lol. I have a baby cotton candy that I paid $100-$120 for because she was mint. Nice pink hair and came with a Peruvian baby outfit. I'd never seen one with pink hair before, I always assumed it was supposed to be white. So when I saw her I had to have her. I paid about $60 for my baby Melody a couple years back, but that was before she shot up in popularity. I think it would near impossible to get her for that price now. I also have an adult Peruvian Blossom, who I think it terribly under-rated. She is such a lovely deep purple!
They do come up in good condition periodically, so it is worth it to wait for the nice ones.

Eeeep! Peru Posey is one of my ultimate grails! I was so heartbroken when I lost an auction for her on eBay. She was absolutely flawless and the seller had her all her life. Still endlessly stalking eBay until I find one that wonderful ;o;
