Hi everyone !
Just a quick note I want to share with you.
In case you are wondering, Italian ponies' blue eye color is "Cerulean Blue". I've used just that (in acrylics) and that's the closest match ever, practically a perfect match.
So now, you know.
Have a nice day, take care !

Is there a specific brand you used?
Sometimes paint color varies with different brands..

Thanks for sharing! :D It's cool and kind and all, but...

Yeah. Acrylic paint is a type. Color names will differ depending on the brand... There isn't one diffinitive Cerulean Blue. It would be very helpful to know the brand!

I'm sorry everyone, I just checked the box and there's no brand attached to it. That's just a set of small 24 tubes in a box I found in a flea marked.
Well, that was pretty useless. I'm sorry. :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cerulean Blue basically the primar blue colour ?
If so, it should be the same tone, wathever the brand.
I'll check at home tonight.

Not quite, cerulean is a cobolt blue and a bit greener. Ultramarine is closer to a primary blue :)
That said, cerulean blue is a specific blue colour (within a small range of bluer-greener and lighter and darker shades), so it should look pretty much the same from brand to brand. :)
(and with ultramarine blue, don't get confused if you're buying warhammer paints. Their "ultramarines blue" is not a true ultramarine. biggest paint pet peeve ever.)

I have always found Citadel paint "Lothern Blue" to be a good match :)

Love the name! Thanks for sharing!

The primary Blue is Cyan.
Cerulean Blue is pretty much a classic one, you found it in a lot of paints brand.

Aw, you're right !
Primary blue is cyan... Shame on me...
I bought tons of this colour and I can't remember its name... ;-P
