-sweetie i totally understand. i love my car too. i used to drive a 98 bonneville and i liked it.
but i like big cars (drive a crown vic now) good luck! *hugs*
I had a 93 bonneville, then a 98 olds eighty eight, I loved my eighty eight though... it was a rose gold color, so pretty, and the interior was nice, smoothest ride I've ever had too, it was like the car was floating  :lovey:

*hugs* thanks everyone for the luck... I'm going to need it

@MoondancerMilkyWay - yeah... was gonna take my first vacation in 3 years, I was so excited... that's down the tubes.

I test drove a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue today.... HATED it, with a flaming passion... inquiring with someone on craigslist about a 2001 chevy impala he's got up for sale, and possibly a 1998 pontiac bonneville....

but I MISS MY CAAAAR  his name was Reginald, and I loved him so......

well... I can be added to the unable to attend list now

just found out today that replacing the engine in my car would cost $2,000.... which wipes out my savings and then some... I only have about $900 in savings *sigh*... my dad is going to help me buy a new car instead... looking at one for $1,900.... taking it for a test drive tonight to see how it drives and if I like it my dad will have a mechanic inspect it... I hate my life  it took me months to save up that money... and now it's gone just like that, and I had to cancel my trip to Kansas...

I know Magical phrases and potions would be great @_@
lighter fluid and a match would be nice about now too *glares at her car*
my dad has some people looking into prices on a new engine for me... I'm praying that I'll be able to find a good deal. My dad has good connections all over town with car people.
if anyone happens to know someone who has a 1998 oldsmobile eighty-eight engine.... let me know it's a 3800 series 2 engine.

Okay.... so remember how I said life is getting better?.... well my car's engine just blew up today... so now I have to come up with probably nearly $1,000 to get it fixed... so my July trip to Kansas will have to be canceled... so much for a one year wedding anniversary second honeymoon *sigh*

So there may be a delay on the couple customs I have to get finished up again... every time I have the money to get supplies and ship things... SOMETHING happens, such is the story of my life...

BTW speaking of customs... I still have a bunch of customs I'm working on selling... if anyone wants one make me an offer, I'm desperate for some money at this point to try and fix my car so... yeah

http://ponyspiration.weebly.com/ <--- look under sales, if you want additional pictures I can get them, I also have an inverted posey for sale which is under my customs page in inverted hasbro ponies section (a couple have been sold I think, I'll check through my customs haven't been in my pony room for a couple months @_@)

I also have these  two:

I'll check around for some baits and stuff that I could sell too... maybe if I have any other ponies for sale... some non pony stuff... I'll try to get my website updated when I have a chance, but if anyone's interested in anything just shoot me a pm.

sadly now I think any chance of me making it to the pony swap went down the toilet :( but maybe this way I can feel like I participated a little

aww you aren't coming.......yes I am excited to get my whizzer=)

I will absolutely TRY to go... but it really isn't looking likely with my husband unable to work and I won't have any vacation time left at work >_< if there is any way at all to finagle it, I will, but the odds aren't good. I will try REALLY hard to have your custom and Bubbles done in the next month or so, I really want to get them done.

Hi there! I knew you were real! I'm sorry life has been hard- I totally understand! It doesn't seem like a lot of effort to try and stay in touch on ONE thread here, just to attempt to organize a pony meet, but for a while I fell off the face of the planet. Pesky baby, demanding all that attention. He's lucky he's adorable. Anyway, I came back a couple months later, and the whole thing was planned! HOORAY! You all have no idea how happy that made me, and how excited I am for this meet. My ponies haven't gotten much attention lately, so it will be really nice to have a day just for the pony fun.

I'm not sure what I'll have for sale- I have a whole bunch of boxes that I need to go through. I'll be bringing my own card table and a kiddie pool full of cheap toys- all kinds- things I just want to get rid of. Unless I get rid of them at my yard sale! Wish me luck!

Yes I'm real! At least I think I am O.O. Life is very slowly calming down, I really really hope that I'll be able to relax a bit more in a month or so when my husband SHOULD be able to finally work as long as the government is not dragging their feet on us again.

It was North Dakota. I don't know if that will happen this year unless the lady from Grand Forks (can't remember her name  :lookround:) is able to set it up as I will be of no help to anyone until summer 2015. I most likely won't be able to make it to the MN one this year since I got into nursing school and they own me now until May 2015 straight through summer . I will miss seeing everyone :(!

that would be me @_@

I've like... completely disappeared from the arena for the last year, sorry everyone!

I know I still owe customs to Bubbles and Whizzer too, and I promise I'm trying to work on them @_@ life is beyond hectic.

Good news is next month my husband should FINALLY have working permission and then I won't be the only one bringing in money to pay the bills, then maybe we can start actually affording things.

Next summer MAYBE I can start working on organizing an ND pony swap, but this year has just been way too hectic.

I don't know if I'll be able to make it in August just based on bills and such, but if my husband is working and if it happens to be around the time my Husband's permanent residency interview  then there would be a good likelihood. I'll try.

I'm pretty much going to be off grid on the arena for most of the summer as i have been for the last year, but I am always reachable by PM, I get alerts in my email.

Pony Corral / Re: Remember When...? G3 History
« on: November 03, 2013, 12:26:27 PM »
I never really got into the G3 ponies... but I remember that it was around the time I started customizing ponies, and I happened to go to a store and spotted them for $5... I was like "OOoo baits" and I bought a few of them, baited them out and customized them.

I honestly didn't even know they'd released my little pony again until then, and I only saw a couple episodes... hated it and refused to ever watch it again because I felt they destroyed MLP. I remembered the good old days of G1 mlp, and in my mind nothing could compare to it. I still hate G3 and G3.5 cartoons and refuse to watch them, and when I heard about g4 coming out, I was terrified they were going to destroy it even more, but I was surprised when I finally worked up the nerve to watch an episode, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the ponies actually had enemies and had crazy personalities, it was refreshing :3

Pony Corral / Re: Should I rehair trimmed forelocks on these ponies?

oh! I thought it was a UK release lol, thought it said that on wiki but apparently I remembered wrong XD

thanks for the advice :3 I'm still grappling with what to do, I'm leaning towards rehairing the forelocks on tootsie and hopscotch since I do plan to keep them, but giving a buyer the option for tex sounds like a great plan :3

Thanks! I don't mind losing some of the puffiness, having it sticking up bugs me lol

Thanks all! :3

I have an inverted Posey too, same colors as peachy, but no pictures sadly at the moment, I'm also working on an inverted bubbles and an inverted Whizzer.

I love doing alternates and inverted ponies :3

I'd just try to match their hair color as best as you can to replace forelocks (if you don't like to borrow a bit of hair from their tails). Easier to replace a forlock than a whole re-hair if they're not totally buzzed. I use the policy if I'm going to sell it, I don't touch the hair.
yeah I just planned on doing the forelocks, not the whole head :3

@Sunshine: they're pretty cute now, I have just never been a fan of trimmed hair... maybe I should get a price check on them as they are... I'm not sure what they're going for, if they're not ones that go for a lot then that might jsut answer my question XD
